My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.

Let's get a couple things out of the way.

First, I am NOT a traditionalist by any means. I'm not here to get married and have children. I'm here to get to know people on a deeper level. If you're here for marriage and children please skip my profile. Your priorities for finding somebody are far too misplaced for me to have any interest in you. For better or worse I am who I am. I enjoy my independence and you should too.

What does all this mean? It means you should like movies, animals, be independent. It's a simple as that. I guess you could say I'm here for a "friends with benefits" scenario. A very close FWB scenario, but a FWB situation none the less.

Second, I'm 5'10 and I fluctuate between 220-230 lbs. So you should be in that range. Meaning if you're taller than that, then it's fine if you weigh a little more. If you're shorter than that, you should probably weigh a little less. Fairly simple. I'm not picky. I don't have a type. I'm just not interested in women on far ends of the spectrum. If you're 6 feet tall and weigh 120 I'm not gonna find you attractive. If you're 5 feet tall and weigh 260 I'm not gonna find you attractive either.

Okay... Now that that's out of the way. Please continue if you're still interested.

I'm what some might call a creative type, but I really don't like that term, because it usually implies a certain amount of flakiness, and I'm much more pragmatic than that. I'm a freelance cameraman, editor, filmmaker, etc... so needless to say I watch a lot of movies. They are my passion.

I like anything that feeds the mind (Books, Music, Movies, Art, Photography, etc...). I like the outdoors when I have the time to actually partake in those activities, which seems more and more rare these days. I guess since my taste in films and fiction tend towards genre you could say I'm a bit geeky in my tastes

For hobbies I like photography, playing the guitar, and I have a borderline weird obsession with technology, especially when it comes to film making tools.

I am sarcastic, curious, and forthright. That can be a problem for some. I'm guessing that's not a problem for because you're still reading... At the very least you're some what curious.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living it.

Oh...that's not enough?

As I stated previously, I'm a filmmaker, and no it doesn't make me rich. However, the skill set that goes with the craft does make me enough money to pay the bills. Either way I don't plan on NOT making films anytime soon.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Since you've read this far what I'm good at is the ONE thing that's relevant in regards to you and I.

I believe actions speak louder than words. Try me.
The first things people usually notice about me

My sarcasm, then maybe my eyes. My ruggedly handsome exterior?

Honestly, I don't know. I don't have enough out of body experiences to tell you what people may or may not notice about me. (Actually, I've had no out of body experiences).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'd love to sit here and list off all these things, but I'm a voracious consumer of most of the above things. Those lists would be immense and I would have to be constantly revising them on here. I have bordeline geeky tastes in things, but not exlucsively. I love good sci-fi/fantasy entertainment.

Lets just say I am constantly hungry for things that feed the mind. The one thing I can't do much of these days is go to live music shows. My hearing is pretty bad, not deaf, but bad enough that I can't do that anymore due to all the errant crowd noise that goes along with those things.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Intelligent conversations about the above items.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I try to avoid letting my days become too typical, but lately I've been taking it easy. Give me a reason to get out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I use dating websites to get dates on occasion. Don't hold that against me.
