My Self-Summary
I've lived in San Diego for much of my life, presently near the
beach. I have also lived in Europe, the S.F.Bay/Berkeley area, and
have traveled far and wide, including up the Amazonas from the
Brazilian coast to Iquitos, Peru. My aesthetic sensitivities
attract me to natural (as opposed to contrived)
things/people/places, and I prefer earthy rather than ethereal or
assertive personalities and styles... Kilim carpets, arts &
crafts revival, an emphasis on natural landscapes with native
vegetation based on ecologically sensitive principles, etc...
essentially Taoist in feeling, a need to comply with nature. Am
fundamentally a patient and compassionate person, towards all
beings great and small.

especially afro-pop. I also enjoy classical which requires more
deliberate focus.

I like natural and vegetarian food, thai, sushi, but also an occasional steak or rotisserie chicken. I love middle eastern cuisine too.
Movies... all kinds! Especially Michael Moore and The Yes Men.
Death at a Funeral totally cracked me up.
Books: I love Kafka... I also enjoy reading Fritjof Capra and Noam Chomsky. I totally recommend Erich Fromm, especially "The Art of Loving".
