Not really sure how to summarize myself. I'm a Vermont Woodchuck. I like reading, writing, camping, outdoorsy crap. I'm outspoken and opinionated by nature, but I like debating and am pretty tolerant of other view. I'm a little insane, but no more so than most folk.

I like reading webcomics like CAD or Schlock Mercenary. I like reading in general. My favorite author is Heinlein.

I tend to be very direct, both in problem solving and in dealing with people. When I was little I got over my fear of the monster under my bed by sleeping under it for a week.

Oh, yeah, and I'm probably the only idiot here who actually had and account here for two years before realizing this wasn't a site dedicated to online tests.

I am Curious, Unusual, and Pragmatic

Work. I work as a maintenance tech for the FAA. I like the work and it keeps me away from desks.

Also, I found out the five page short story that mutated into 115,000 words is now technically a novel. So I guess that means I'm writing a novel.

Sept/Oct 09-So it turns out I can act. I thought I was getting recruited to help on Tech for Nightmare Vermont, a haunted house thing in Burlington. Instead they recruited me as an actor. Its weird but fun, considering I've never acted before in my life.

Building stuff, problem solving, listening (so I've been told), camping.

Hell if I know, I'm not in their heads.

Every damn thing. My brain never shuts off. More specifically, quantum mechanics, the nature of the Universe, why people do the things they do, Morality, Civics, cats, girls (I'm a guy, go figure), stuff like that.

Watching Sci Fi Friday & eating pizza.

The reason I sometimes seem cold is that I've been burned before. Think of it like being a kicked dog. You want that pat but you're still expecting a kick.

You like guys who are outdoorsy, handy, nerdy and a little nuts. Or otherwise fascinating and fun. You don't mind a guy needs to be told when you need a hug but will always give you one.
