My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm not into fashion, don't really care for clubbing and am not on any sporting teams. On the other hand if you want a detailed philosophical discussion, I'm all in.

I'm looking for a smart woman who likes discussing things. Hopefully we can challenge each other and broaden our horizons.

Someone romantic & caring to spoil, and be spoiled in return.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Wow. Is there a bigger question you can ask than that?

Well, I'm working full time as an engineer, and I'm also doing a masters degree part time. In my spare time I run a community technology & hobby workshop and try and make interesting projects.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm very into making things, woodwork, electronics and programming, and teaching others how they can make things they want. Building things can be very empowering for people, when we are normally dependent on getting our stuff from the shops. When you make an object yourself, in addition to feeling you've accomplished something, you get something you know you want.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not really sure. I've got this kinda Clarke Kent mild-mannered thing going on.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I think I have a good sense of humor, and I like sitting down and watching funny movies. More so if the movie is so bad you have to boo the actors from your couch. (MST3k)

Musically I'm pretty varied. I like classical music, especially Bach. Also like Dire Straits, Moby, John Lee Hooker, Meat Loaf, some jazz. I'm trying to expand my horizons as well. I think my musical tastes are about a decade out-of-sync, so I'm always open to suggestions for stuff to listen to.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Broadband (sigh)
2. Good friends to call on and have them call on me
3. Pencil & notebook to jot things down or make sketches on the go
4. Nice food, especially something you haven't tried before
5. A new project or crazy idea to work on (currently making a robot that paints portraits!)
6. --This space for let--

/Sadly I thought of #1 before I thought of #2.

Also, as a preemtive pedant, yes I put people on the list of 'things' I can never do without. All people are things, but not all things are people. :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
*Aesthetically interesting textures and patterns.
*Colours, and what is appealing
*Turns of phrase that catch the ear and burrow in. (And how the German term Earworm is staggeringly good at expressing this)
*How expressive a couple of lines on a cartoon face can be.

You're a sweet and loving woman that's not afraid to be a bit of a geek.
