My self-summary
I was born and raised in Ohio, and went to a small liberal arts college there as well. Since graduating I've been living in Philly.

I want to make you laugh. I'm willing to embarrass myself to make it happen; if that's what it takes. Once I told some jokes at an open mic night to make a date laugh.

I like to exercise and it is important for me to get some of it on a regular basis. Generally, I prefer to swim, bike, or run for my workouts. However, I've been known to jazzercise, body pump, boot camp, and downward dog for my daily dose of activity. If you have a preferred method you'd think I'd like then I'm willing to give it a shot.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a swimming coach in Philly and a graduate student at Temple University. I'm working on a masters in sport and exercise psychology. "What can you do with that?", you ask. That's a good question, and if you have any good ideas then I'm willing to listen.

Also, I'm training for a triathlon in September. ** I just did the tri last weekend. It's called Savageman. It was killer. You can find great YouTube videos of triathletes falling on their way up the westernport wall on the bike leg.
I’m really good at
Swimming and biking, the longer the distance the better. Being friendly to complete strangers (and other people too). Establishing a good rapport with the young people whom I coach.
The first things people usually notice about me
People notice that I smile a lot.

The six things I could never do without
My bikes, a place to swim, friends and family, coffee, kettle cooked potato chips, and running shoes.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to be a better swimming coach, where should I go on this bike ride, did I lock the front door, if I was a cat would I poop behind the dryer?

Who is Giovanni Giorgio? I want to know more about Giovanni Giorgio, aka Giorgio.
On a typical Friday night I am
Having dinner and good beer at one of the many great South Philly dive bars, at a friend's house for a game or three of Settlers of Catan, or at home to watch a movie or binge watch a whole season of a tv show.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've never seen Titanic. At first, I resisted only because all of my friends insisted that I see it. Then it became a matter of pride. Now, I kind of want to see it. Please, no spoilers.
