My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Keeping this as short and simple as possible. I am a down to Earth guy. Laughing and making others laugh are big priorities in my life. My main goal is to be the best/happiest person I can be. If you feel like you could contribute to that, you might be in the right place.

I just moved to Portland (January 2015). I'd love to meet new people and go on a few adventures. If you would like to show me the ropes here in PDX, I would love to learn more about the area!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just working. I work for DHL Global Forwarding, an international freight company. For the foreseeable future, riding out this career wave seems like the best plan. I plan on going back to school this spring so that I can finish up my English degree. Eventually, I'd like to teach in some capacity.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Communicating. Whether it is verbal or nonverbal, I feel as if I excel at being able to express my views, while actively listening to the views/feelings of others. Also, I can get down in the kitchen. I'll try making anything once.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My upbeat attitude, and my propensity to make largely inappropriate jokes. If you offend easily, it might be best to avoid me entirely.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books- Too many classics to list, The Dark Tower series - Stephen King, Generally anything by Stephen King, A Song of Ice and Fire series - George R.R. Martin, Dresden Files - Jim Butcher

Music- Bayside, Senses Fail, Brand New, A Day To Remember, Taking Back Sunday, Alkaline Trio, Ben Folds, Mayday Parade, Coheed & Cambria, Deathcab for Cutie, Jack's Mannequin, and so many more

Shows- Don't watch a lot of TV, aside from sports (baketball and football). Breaking Bad, The League, Workaholics, Futurama, Louie, Tosh.0, Venture Brothers, Sealab, and most other Adult Swim stuff

Movies- Anchorman, most comedies will do it for me. I enjoy documentaries and foreign films. I'm not very picky with movies. I don't really enjoy horror films.

Food - I love all food, my favorite being Mexican. If it can be inside my belly, I will put it there.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The Internet
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What it all means. I tend to get lost in thought, while simply contemplating why things are the way they are. I love exploring philosophy and ethics to better understand myself, and those around me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm enjoying a new role at my company that allows me to actually get out and about on Friday night. In a new city, I go out exploring a bit. If I stay in, I'll usually read a book, or look for new documentaries on Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
.... I cried at the end of Fox and the Hound
