To be brief, I love life. I'm happy to be here.

Ok ok, let me be a bit more descriptive.

To start, I am a quintessential nerd. I love computers, video games, anime, RPGs, and all the other classic trappings of the nerd culture. Yes, I play Dungeons & Dragons as well as Magic the Gathering. I'm even designing a roleplaying system of my own.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about so far, I might not be what you're looking for.

Let me take a moment and clear up a few unfortunate stereotypes about nerds.

I do not live in my mother's basement. I bathe daily. I workout regularly. I have a job. I'm also not too shabby of a cook, if I do say so myself.

As for why I'm here; I joined OkCupid at my sister's behest. Both of my sisters have had success here and I'm not the type of person to go to a bar or club. I'm also looking for the type of girl who shares at least some of my nerd-osity, or at the very least, is curious about it.

I'm a creator at my core. Everything I get great joy from has some form of creative component.

I make websites presently, but I just recently may have gotten my first novel published. I have an offer on the table and it's looking very good.

Web Design, it's what pays the bills.

I'm also pretty dandy as a writer, at least I like to think so.

I truly excel at game design. I'm actually a game designer hobbyist, and I'm in the process of breaking into the game industry (No small feat, mind you).

I have a great passion for the construction of the mechanical systems of games, both electronic and table-top.

I have long hair. It might be odd for a guy but I love it and I'll have long hair for my entire life.

I'm also tragically un-photogenic. Or at least I used to be.

Books: His Dark Materials, A Song of Ice and Fire... I know there are more for this list but they've flown from my brain at the moment.

Movies:The Matrix, LOTR, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Just about everything by Pixar, Revolver, Tank Girl (If you know what Tank Girl is, you get many bonus points), this list will go on and on but I'll leave it here for now.

TV: Dexter, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Disney's Gargoyles, Avatar: The Last Airbender & Korra, I've been meaning to start watching The Walking Dead but I haven't gotten to it yet.

Anime: I like a lot of anime, if you do as well we can geek out over it. I have many recommendations.

Video Games: Disgaea (If you know what this is, I might be in love), Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, Darksiders, The older Final Fantasy games, Most Mario and Zelda games, the older Sonic games, umm... this list will go on a long long way... if you're into to gaming, we'll talk at length.

Food: I like a lot of oriental food and as such I tend to make a lot of stir-fry type stuff. I'm wanting to broaden my horizons in the field of cooking though so suggestions are welcome.

Music: Mostly Rock and Metal, but I also quite enjoy classical, techno, some pop and a smattering of other things. I don't much care for Rap or Country.
