If you were just like, "whoa that's me, my friends tell me I'm legendary all the time," then please continue.
I work as a reporter for a newspaper. It's a cool job, and I'm pretty good at it. A disclaimer: Although reporters are fascinating and passionate people, we are also at an advanced stage of money-less. If that sounds awesome to you, proceed.
I'm kindof a huge nerd, and I come from a family of huge nerds. My Dad works for the space program, my brother is an aspiring artist. My mother insists she isn't a nerd, but she has a master's degree in education. Are you a nerd, too? Do you at least have an interest and respect for nerds, like an anthropologist studies gorillas? Then you have passed the third gate.
I'd describe myself as an intellectual person. I'm a thinker, and I'm cool-headed. Also, don't let the whole dorky thing fool you: I am a romantic. I also like to think I have a good sense of humor. My family is important to me, too; I have supportive parents and my brothers are my best friends.
I like all the nerdy tropes, like video games and scifi and junk, but I also enjoy art, literature, music and other classy pursuits. I enjoy sports to a degree, insofar as I am always up for a roadtrip to see a game, but I couldn't tell you a team I'm a fan of or a particular athlete I'm fond of. Okay, I guess I'm definitely a huge nerd, but I'm not going to apologize for that.
If there's one thing I'm good at, it's telling a story. If you want to hear a couple, woman up and send me an email. We live in a new world; it's okay for you to email me first.
P.S. By the way, I don't know what voodoo curse I'm under, but I simply do not photograph well. I think it's from years of instinctively getting out of photographer's ways, as is a big part of my job.
