OH COOL. YOU MEAN I GET TO SIT HERE FOR 30 MINUTES AND TYPE ABOUT
MYSELF??? ?
-
...Yeah, I mean you wanted to update your profile, and there's
nothing better to be doing right now. I mean, it could even be more
than 30 minutes, this process is pretty long.
-OH BOY, THIS IS SURE WHAT I WANT TO BE DOING ALL NIGHT.
-
Look, calm down, I don't think people like it when you type in
all caps.
-BUT I'M JUST SO EXCITED.
-
Well... I guess they probably wouldn't quite get just how
slathered in sarcasm everything you say is without your handy
caps-lock key.
-YESSIR
Alright, so get ready for the biggest boat-full of awesome your
retinas have ever had the pleasure of turning into nerve impulses.
You'll find your brain savoring each electric signal like the last
drop of water in your canteen of life suddenly making you aware of
the desert you're standing in wishing you had ever-more to quench
that thirst that you know will ensue. Luckily for you, there's a
faucet right on my page, it'll show up on the bottom of my profile
picture when it's flowing; sure to fill your life with more awesome
than you can handle.
HERE GOES!!
...
...
Goddamn it. Why isn't it working.
GO!
...
Fuck...
...
Alright, so I admit, I don't have anything prepared...Yeah, I knew
there was gonna be an essay, but
no, I
didn't think
to prepare ahead of time...
Hrm... guess you'll just have to bear with me.
We'll see if we can't fabricate something for you, but you're gonna
have to help out.
Sorry, I've never been one to respect the fourth wall.
Lets start with something I'm interested in:
I am absolutely fascinated with
the human mind. Behaviors,
habits, the way it sabotages itself, and believes so wholly in the
rigidity of the realities it creates.
I am a firm believer in the
Law of Attraction. And I don't
mean just the surface-level stuff you'll find in the popular books.
I mean the laws of the universe that you start to pick up on from
delving into studies of the lectures from
Abraham Hickes that spurned all
of that. The stuff that all ties with
Quantum Physics,
Buddhism,
Eckharte Tolle,
Story Waters,
Consciousness, etc etc.
I am about as
spontaneous and
trusting of the
universe as anyone you'll meet. I've spent the last couple
years of my life studying how to do exactly that.
It's probably the only reason I was able to just up and move to
San
Francisco from the
East Coast, about 3 weeks after
visiting for the first time.(February '09)
Which has helped me go from being a junior at
Jacksonville
University to being stoked that I just landed a job at
Starbucks.
But it was just the right thing to do. And was certainly one of the
best decisions I've made.
Let me explain: I get to live and hang out with my sister
BurntSushi while we do abs
class three times a week, parkour, burning man parties, crazy
festivals, surfing, get my MM license(gotta love this place), and
just live around SF people. All the while working in my down time
to establish a business in which I can spend my time helping
everyone around me lose weight, get in shape, and feel awesome.
What more could I want?
As soon as I feel like handing someone a piece of paper saying I
sat at a desk for 4 years, so that I can sit at their desk for the
rest of my life, I can finish off school here. But in the mean time
I'm just gonna enjoy my freedom.
The only downside I can see is that music has had to take a back
seat. But I dunno, it's hard to call having too many things to be
passionate about a down-side. I'll get to it when it finds me
again.
I evolve constantly. It's my constant focus to do so. I've really
found that as long as my mind is in the right place, no matter what
I target with my attention I can start seeing beautiful things
erupt from it and find a
passion to tap into.
My sister is kinda my partner in crime. We just keep each other
grounded while we go out, do awesome things and meet people. While
still being ready to wake up by 7:00am Monday, haha.
Living it as
brilliantly as I can.
Experiencing as much as possible.
Co-creating
with everyone I cross paths with.
Saying "
yes" to as
many situations as humanly possible.
Creating
Love.
Understanding my body. I've started really getting in tune with it,
and thus begun truly
stretching,
working out, and
eating healthy the right
way. I can finally do it all because I love it. Not because I know
I'll regret not doing it, but because I finally understand what my
body is telling me. And it's been pretty amazing watching things
fall into place from there. Watching the belly-pouch melt off and
muscle structure show itself.
That's kinda where the
wellness business comes in. My body is
absolutely in love with HEALTHY weightloss/muscle building
supplements. There's alot of wrong ways to do it, but once you find
the right ones you know it cause your body will show it.
If you are looking for any help with nutrition/losing weight, etc,
I'm probably the guy to talk to.
Probably the fact that they're looking up at me.
I'm 6'6".
Which is fantastic if you like:
-Not worrying about girls being taller than you.
-Playing most sports(
Rowing, basketball, rugby,...).
-Hitting your head on low-clearance chandeliers, doorways, and
low-hanging branches.
-Giving piggy-back rides.
-Front row views from anywhere at a concert.
-Not needing a step stool to reach that top shelf in your
closet.
But it's not so great if you're into:
-Short chicks
-Pants that reach your shoes.
-Driving NASCAR
-Gymnastics
-
Not hitting your head on things.
-Finding shoes your size in normal stores.
-Fitting comfortably in friend's cars.
BOOKS:
-
Ender's
Shadow/
Ender's Game - Orson Scott Card
is a brilliant author.
-The
A
Wrinkle in Time series - A childhood favorite. I'm actually
re-reading the series right now for S's and G's. Definitely the
most enlightened youth's series I've seen. I had no idea when I was
younger why I liked it so much. But the author clearly has an
incredible grasp of Quantum Physics and Consciousness.
-
The Power of
Now - I can't say enough about this book or what it's done for
me. If you heed nothing else I say: pick up this book. Eckharte
Tolle will change you.
-
Made to
Stick - Modern theories on communication and marketing.
-
Animorphs -
Pretty sure I read like 30+ of their books back in the day,
haha.
-
The World
is Flat - Pretty awesome view on the new economy that's
outsourcing everything.
-
Freakanomics
- Mr. Levitt will change the way you see economics as a boring
classroom topic.
-
A New Earth -
Eckhart Tolle again, just as powerful as
The Power of Now, a further
study into the topics expressed in the first book.
-
The
Sword of Shannara series - More or less, a dark, badass, ripoff
of Tolkein's books. Props to Tolkein for innovating the whole idea.
But the Shannara series has my heart.
-The
Redwall
series - Who knew you could make a story of rabbits and rats with
swords and kingdoms so fascinating?
-
Angels and
Demons/
Davinci Code - Mmm mmm,
delicious.

FOOD:
Oooh, alright best thing ever:
1. Get a bowl.
2. Throw in a layer of spinach.
3. Zap some brown rice in the microwave.
4. Dump it over the spinach(it'll steam it).
5. Cut up about half of an
avocado over the top of it.
6. Add soy sauce.
7. Grab a fork.
8.
Orgasm.
I try to stick to a
vegan ideal. Turns out we're really not
very well built to eat meat products. (blunt teeth, no fangs or
claws to catch/eat prey, herbavore-style super-long intestine
track[meat literally
ROTS on the way through your small
intestine, cause it's so long], etc etc.) And it's rather obvious
that there's really nothing natural about consuming lots of cow
milk.
Milk is designed to turn a 10lb calf into a 400lbs monster. Yet we
include it in most EVERY SINGLE MEAL you have every day. ...And we
wonder why we're all so fat, haha.
EXTRA:
Dunno where he'd fit in here but
Ze Frank and his
The Show definitely deserve a spot in
my favorite stuff.
