how do i summarize my self? i have no idea where to start.
i work hard. i play harder.
i find the spelling of the word "awkward" well, awkward.
i have a passion for singing, smoking, writing, and random debauchery.
i love being an aunt, and try to spoil my nephew as often as humanly possible. and in return he loves me so much that while his mother is changing his diaper and on her phone, he will grab her cell, put his father on hold, and call me. i shit you not. he is that awesome.
i am crazy. seriously, my doctor says so.
my father says my mind moves faster than my mouth.
my mother says i should have never gone off my meds.
alright, well, if that doesn't make you feel awkward, i like you already.

i have a very loving and supportive group of friends in Ottawa who are more of a family than most people have the luck to find. without them i would be laying in a ditch or most likely dead. i'm not even joking. i try to thank them everyday for being so awesome. (the trick is doing it without letting it get to their heads)

i have the irritating tendency of poor typing skills. i do enjoy good grammar and spelling, but i am just too damn lazy to hit the shift key to capitalize as i should. if this irks you, i apologize.

Note: i only associate with beautiful people, and the occasional fat chick. kidding. sort of. seriously though, if you message me just looking for sex or some shit, i'll kick your ass. if you're gonna do it, at least be creative. thankyou.

ok. i might as well get it off my chest. i'm a karaoke whore. i'm no longer a karaoke slut, because i've been getting paid to host shows for almost 3 years now. it's my passion, it's what i love to do, it's what i want to do. it's what i will be doing.
i've just recently quit my day job at the office. the hours were killing me, and some people just aren't meant to sit at a desk all day.
so, it's back to bar tending. which is great, because i miss it terribly.

bullshitting vocals to songs i don't know
hosting a party
giving pep talks
being a good ear and occasionally, a shoulder
using a walkie-talkie radio.
pulling all nighters

aside from my chest.. which believe me, they all notice...
my confidence, real or false.
my gregariousness.

friends, music, karaoke, my outlets, my journals, my partner

the best way to move forward. not to grow up, but to grow old.
and being less childish and more child-like.

working a karaoke show and having one hell of a party.
