Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.

Currently looking for someone to play Monica to my Chandler.
Someone to get to know. Someone to laugh together with. Someone to
share the secrets of the universe and our infinitely insignificant
place in it, in hushed & whispered tones.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Not sure, really. I want a serious relationship, but I NEED someone
to simply hang out with. Someone to make plans with once or twice a
month, time & $ willing and go DO something. While I am picky
about what I do and where I go, I'm open to influence and
suggestion when something doesn't "sound" fun. I need to have an
out of country experience and I haven't yet accomplished the first
step of preparation (passport).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening. It really is a favorite thing to do; to conversationally
explore someone else's viewpoints. To flesh out all perspectives of
an issue (the dramatic, the realistic, the worst case scenario) and
NOT excluding the wildly ridiculous (the funny), sort of like the
pace of a Friends episode! :-) I opine that I'm good at listening
because I enjoy it.

I will default to honesty, because (if this question is supposed to
be answered in a way that (attractively) markets oneself then my
honesty is going to stab me in the back. I can be incredibly
nervous the first time I meet with someone, so much so that I often
get tongue-tied and come across far less intelligent & far more
clumsy than I actually am. Well, just less intelligent. I'm STUCK
with clumsy, comes with Murphy. I've also gotten used to the taste
of shoe, I'll let you guess why. BUT I'm not afraid to be
corrected, or (as I like to see it) given a different take on any

I'm a serious movie (on dvd) buff. Currently into television series
like Sons of Anarchy, Parenthood, House & Nurse Jackie. I'm not
averse to reading but I don't feel I've read a lot to claim any
"implied brownie points" for being cultured or well versed. Food?
Don't know. Too many choices, not enough refined taste on my part.
Music I enjoy doesn't fit in any one genre. Probably easier to say
that I don't care for cajun, bluegrass, zydeco or tejano. Music is
a universal tool of expression and any tune can find someone's
attraction. Am an avid gamer, so define that however you will. I
won't deny it and if I have to defend it, we're wasting your time.
The six things I could never do without

Since everyone else has a Fiday night life, all that gym equipment

I've had my eyebrows plucked once. Why on earth women go through so
much pain to look "gorgeous", I'll never understand. You DO know
looks are fleeting, right? You're not gonna look the same at 50,
60, 70 or 80. Think on that for crying out loud. SOME pains just
aren't worth it.
