My self-summary
Just a semi-carefree quite outgoing Scottish guy.

I absolutely love being out and about and just living in the moment. I have time for anyone that has an interesting story, a great sense of humour or a passion for something that I don't know a lot about.

I love great company, good food, brilliant music and anything that will give me an awesome story to tell the next day. Drop me a message if you want to hear any of them or if you even fancy going to do something epic and spontaneous to get a story out of it.

I'm also constantly trying to start a Ska band.
What I’m doing with my life
Well I'm currently working as a Project Manager for an App Development consultancy in Edinburgh. It's ridiculous amounts of fun, even if it doesn't sound it.

I used to work as an Audio Programmer/Engineer for various computer games companies but gave it up as the social side of it wasn't all that great. So now I dabble in music in my spare time.
I’m really good at
Meeting new people, playing guitar and making a damn fine white russian. All the essential skills that someone might need.

Oh also I make brilliant brownies and cupcakes. Baking is awesome!
The first things people usually notice about me
Is that I'm very out going and forward. I'm usually the one breaking the ice with an obscure or weird topic of conversation just to get people chatting. That and I'll probably make some terrible joke.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music is a very important part of my life. I Like to think I have diverse and eclectic taste in music that ranges from BB King to Jay Z and Daft Punk to Motion City Soundtrack. Just a few :
Futurecop!, The Joy Formidable, Hundred Reasons, Reuben, Queens of the Stone Age, Hell is for Heroes, Mutemath, Bad Veins, Ra Ra Riot, Why?, Tellison, Zebrahead, Jeff Buckley, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, M83, Mr, Scruff, Filthy Dukes, Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Deftones, Sleeper Agent, Billy Talent, Enter Shikari, New Found Glory, Dance Gavin Dance.
But pretty much all music is just brilliant! I love gigs and try to see all types of live music as much as I can.

Books are amazing and I can never get enough of them. A few of my recent favourites:
- The Book Thief by Marcus Zuzak
- The Lost World by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
- The Road To Mars by Eric Idle
- Death in Breslau by Marek Krajewski
Still have a total love for Terry Pratchett and fondness for the Hithchikers series.

There are just way too many films that I love to mention:
High Fidelity, Stranger Than Fiction, Jaws, all three Indiana Jones films (Lets forget about the 4th), Cabin In the Woods, The Thing, An American Werewolf in London, The Good The Bad and The Weird, Kung Fu Hustle, pretty much all Studio Ghibli, The Dark Crystal, Pans Labrynth, Casablanca, LOTR, The Muppets....so many more!

Food is probably by biggest vice. I'm known to love all types of food and I'll enjoy pretty much anything as long as the flavour is fantastic.
The six things I could never do without
1. Music. It pretty much rules my life.
2. My guitar.
3. Friends and meeting new people.
4. A damn good pair of boots. Sounds a bit weird for a guy, but I love a fine pair of boots.
5. Books. There's just nothing better than losing yourself in a good read.
6. Food might sound like a sarcastic answer here, but my word do I love good food.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Do you think the folks that work at the Jamie Dodger factory get to take a jar of the jam home? That would be so awesome.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably out after work with a few friends. Though more often than not "Just one pint" turns into a fairly big event.

I am quite partial to just heading home and cooking a nice meal or sitting in with a book or movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a geek and I do a horrible job of trying to hide it.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 19–30
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
You are up for interesting conversation and possibly a brilliant night out.

Also if you want to hit up a gig. Always up for seeing a band/artist.
