My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm originally from Denver and have been living in Chicago for seven years. I didn't think I'd be able to love another city as much as I love Denver, but Chicago proved me wrong!

I make a big effort to surround myself with the people I love as often as I can. I've got friends from all walks of life - I adore every one of them and don't know where I'd be without them!

I rarely wear pants - they're really just not my style.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to find the perfect mix between work and fun with lots of laughter and inappropriate jokes in between!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Shopping and spending money on frivolous things
Song lyrics
Watching an endless amount of reality TV, and shamefully so.
Back and neck massages - seriously, ask my peeps.
Lending a friendly, nonjudgmental ear
Beat boxing... well, that's not true. If only...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My name since it's pretty unusual and my purple eyeshadow - it's a staple.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: If BuzzFeed was a book, that would be my all time favorite. In terms of real books - The Color Purple, The Lovely Bones, Mountains Beyond Mountains, Cutting for Stone, Memoirs of a Geisha, Are You There Vodka It's Me Chelsea,

Movies: Wet Hot American Summer, The Hangover, Old School, Wedding Crashers, Pineapple Express, A Walk to Beautiful, King's Speech, 90s teen movies like 10 Things I Hate About You (total guilty pleasure), Bad Boys II, every Harry Potter.

Shows: All reality TV (Real Housewives, Jerseylicious, Intervention, Shahs of Sunset, Millionaire Matchmaker... this could be a long list...), Family Guy, South Park, American Dad, Arrested Development, Always Sunny, True Blood, The L Word, Better off Ted, Skins (the British version ONLY).

Music: Pretty much everything except country. Some faves are MGMT, old school Motown like the Temptations, Lupe Fiasco, Rihanna (when she's not being crazy), Two Door Cinema Club, Cold War Kids, Robyn, Adele, B.E.P., Sia, Kid Cudi, Alphabeat, Kanye and traditional Ethiopian music. Oh, and jazz/blues when I'm feeling particularly soulful. Also, sad that I'm admitting this, but J.Biebs...

Food: Love international foods - Indian, Ethiopian, Italian, Greek, Mexican, Spanish. I have a weird aversion for eggs and seafood - can't and won't do them, unless I'm dared to.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family and Friends
Inappropriately large and sometimes gaudy rings
My staple purple eyeshadow and lipgloss
Diet Coke (with and without Bacardi)
... and Peter Griffin
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either on call or hopefully not doing things I'll regret the next morning, but I might be.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
