If you're a Red Sox fan, you might as well stop right here. I bleed
pinstripes, and live my life by the 3 B's: Books, Baseball, and
Bacon. Books are my livelihood--I'm a full-fledged Penguin. I'm an
amazing hybrid of die-hard Yankees and die-hard Bengals, but if
there's not a game on, I want to eating the craziest food New York
has to offer.
What I’m doing with my life
From 9-5, I'm a publicist at Penguin, tending to insane authors'
every whim. When I'm not tending to my authors, I love to EAT.
Whether it's a 4 star tasting menu or some random hole-in-the-wall
the New York Times hasn't reviewed yet, I will go anywhere to eat
anything. In between meals, I love to hike, wander around the city,
or explore neighborhoods I've never been.
I’m really good at
Yelling at the TV during Yankees games, making up life stories
about people we spy in the park, cooking random meals with whatever
is in the fridge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm short! But don't be fooled, I can take over the room.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Let's just do Top 3 so we're not here all night:
Books: Middlesex, Lolita, The Art of Fielding
Movies: Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Atonement, Empire Records
Shows: Homeland, Downton Abbey, Alias (don't judge, it's
Music: Fiona Apple, The National, Wolf Parade
Food: Fried chicken, anything at Esca, any pasta at al di la
The six things I could never do without
Butter, pasta, television, my book collection, my parents, Mariano
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I should eat for my next meal.
On a typical Friday night I am
Ok, Friday is actually my lame night in. Cooking dinner with a
cocktail, catching up on reading, preparing for a random Saturday
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I cry every time I watch Grey's Anatomy.
You should message me if
You agree with my 3 B philosophy.
