My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm full of complexity, and prefer to keep it that way.

I take very well to super hilarious people. My laugh is incredibly contagious, and it will probably make you laugh, too.

I'm honestly a rare blend of intellectual-athlete-irreverent-feminine tomboy-introvert-life of the party...and much, much more.

INFP if that's your steez.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Specifically, I work in a Peds OR. Generally, exploring balance, being a goof, ruling at being cognitively dissonant.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening. Research. The art of being a great conversationalist. Sports. Being witty and making terrible puns. Making others feel at ease.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes and smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love books. A great, big library or a small, independent bookstore are two of my favorite places to hang. I know it's convenient, but I really don't think I could vibe well with someone who is obsessed with their Kindle. I dig the feel and smell of books, especially second-hand ones that have cracked covers, thoughts scribbled in the margins, and perhaps some food spilled on it's pages. It's like a story within a story. I still love to read the newspaper with a good cup of coffee. I've recently decided to read every Fiction book that's won the Pulitzer Prize, in no particular order. So far I've gotten through The Hours by Michael Cunningham, The Road by Cormac McCarthy, and Beloved by Toni Morrison. I fell in love with A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan before I endeavored into this project. Also, Just Kids by Patti Smith is incredibly eloquent and inspiring.

I'll be brief with the rest.
Movies- Home Alone (1 & 2, but not 3), Short Term 12, True Romance, Death Proof, anything stupidly funny like 21 Jump Street. Amelie, Before Sunrise, Cinema Paradiso, and anything by Pedro Almodovar.

Shows- Hannibal, Homeland, Broad City, The Wire, Modern Family. Dr. Brule + Ali G.

Music- Talking Heads, Little Dragon, The National, Sharon Van Etten, Beck, Lana Del Rey--these are the ones I can listen to on repeat. Anything live, I love bluegrass, jam bands, blues, jazz, funk, and would truly love it if someone took me to the symphony. Books and music are my favorite things in the whole world.

Food- I will try anything. Seriously.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books
Sex
Music
Laughing til my cheeks and stomach cramp
Snuggling
Coffee
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything. I'm a total thinker, dreamer, analyzer, sometimes to my detriment. I like people who understand this drive and can relate. I really love reading and thinking about cultural criticism, sexuality, gender politics, relationships, or basically anything in the sociology, psychology, communication studies fields.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Super happy it's Friday, man.
