My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Where to start? I am a multifaceted person. Half "nerd", half "cool kid." Some of my favorite activities include sports and games, parties, coffeehouses, road trips, shopping, eating out and keeping up with politics. I used fluid as an adjective because generally I fit into many situations, love being social and am flexible to change. A night in is also great sometimes especially if movies/drinks/board games or Wii is involved! I'm definitely intelligent when I apply myself and focus but I can be a ditz if I let my daydreaming get the better of me. Feminist to the core.

Old-School OKCupid: I am Fluid, Fun, and Energetic!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Finished with my AA, transferring to University of South Florida to be a "Unicorn" male Gender Studies major. Since I'm a student, night owl, and have an online job, I feel like a slacker sometimes. But a successful one! If you have any Facebook content to produce I am here for you. I also like to volunteer, mostly during election time but also looking into volunteering for feminist-related causes. And I'm sort of known for random poetry about the Rays. Also very important is my love of Japan, to the point of moving there to teach English soon.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing, public speaking, games, a respectable handful of activities. Oh, and I so invented a drink that is now on every alcohol-related website ever, and highly rated.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my enthusiasm and outgoing nature. That or how awesome I look in bright polos. Really, that I look like a Club Promoter and/or slacker college student depending on the day. Possibly a more astute eye will pick up on my "variant" gender presentation.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books:

Yes Means Yes, Female Chauvinist Pigs, F'em, Manifesta. How to Suppress Women's Writing, Whipping Girl Sister Citizen, Sexual Politics... in other words Feminist powerhouses.

Movies:

Mean Girls, American Pie, Wall-E, Bruno, Damsels in Distress, Easy A, Lion King, House Bunny, and Coraline. Needs more Indie/Arthouse stuff so I plan to start frequenting the Tampa Theatre.

TV is roughly:

Old School- Seinfeld, Sex and the City, Saved by the Bell, Fresh Prince, and Freaks and Geeks.

Modern- New Girl, Adventure Time, and GIRLS.

Sports- Bucs, Rays, Magic and Yankees.

News- MSNBC especially Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell, and the dazzling trio of Stewart, Colbert, and Maher.

Music basically:

EDM, Tiesto, Kaskade, Boys Noize, Armin van Buuren, Deadmau5, Baby Anne, Bjorn Akesson, NERVO, Steve Aoki, etc... all of which can amp me up or be white noise depending on my mood. A bit of Hip-Hop and Pop like Kanye, Drake, and Lady Gaga.

Food brings me to the no-holds barred cuisines of the world:

Cajun, BBQ, Caribbean, Thai, East Asian, Indian, and Ethiopian are some favorites. I will always love sweet things of all sorts, and am a coffee and tea fanatic. Alcohol too of course, with Chambord standing out.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee/tea, sweet alcohol, gummy candy, Feminism, iphone, animals.

Not putting down the obvious or givens like family, friends, and water.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Politics, Gender and Sexuality, EDM, science, animals, post-grad plans (Teach in Japan, PhD study, travel esp. to the Nordic Countries, then professor).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Mostly out playing pool or having some drinks, or at a friend's for movies/games. But it all depends on my mood at the time, there is no "typical Friday night routine activity" for me. Apparently everyone says that.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not exactly "curvy," but none of the descriptors fit perfectly and it's always fun to screw with gender norms.

My bluntness has gotten me in trouble but it's mostly kept to a dull roar.

You're fun, spontaneous and want to make an awesome new friend :) Some brains would be nice too. Oh and harboring prejudices just doesn't jive. Apparently some people in 2013 have no shame in advising people of color to not contact them. Plus no religious zealots, sorry. If nothing else you sully the name of zeal, a quite pretty word. Anyway, I generally accept humanity with open arms so no worries. Major bonus if you like hugs.

Or, if you think 1,000 words is ridiculous. I just added to an already long profile and I'm barely sittin' on 500 or so.
