I studied art and writing and am going back for grad in education, even though the classes can be total shit. I eventually will get my MFA in order to adjunct. I, I, I. I am compulsively honest with a certain kind of vitality. No conversation is off limits unless it's some kind of detailed description of my parents' sex life. All of my past work is about sex, gender and social interaction and so these topics are of great interest to me and consume a decent chunk of thinking and conversation. I am a smart, fun broad but at the core pretty serious and a bit nerdy. I am virtually never offended but can get pissed off, which I generally deal with by and in language as upfront as possible. I have found that brutal honesty, although difficult, makes the implicit complication of being a human being a bit easier to deal with.

books: this is more difficult to be exact about, Henry Miller, I read the Great Gatsby once a year, Kim Addonizio, Sharen Olds, Updike, Foer, some Kafka, academic shit in relation to gender and body, some biographies: Duchamp, Louise B, David Wojnarowicz is amazing. I don't know, it varies.
