People generally like me. I am down to earth & have a loving spirit. I prefer working in the non-profit world & I don't think I could ever have a job where I wasn't at least trying to make the world a better place. I care for my friendships deeply & I am loyal to people I love. I love the outdoors and I'm a big dork in that summer camp counselor kind of way. I'm always down for something fun. Totally nice... & yet a little naughty.

In my spare time I like to be outdoors hiking, camping, kayaking, rock climbing, poking sea anemones, & volunteering w/ the Sierra Club's Inner-City Outings. I like working in my yard & tending my gardens. Volunteering a couple weeks a summer with Jr High kids at a camp in the woods is my idea of a perfect vacation. I enjoy playing softball as much as watching an Ms game. I heart This American Life and am steadily working my way back through the archives.

I presently work in administration for a non-profit counseling agency that is linked to the LGBTQI community.

Please do not be too disappointed that the only foods that really don't do it for me: Sushi, Seafood, Oh & meat. Yup, I'm a vegetarian but not the angry dietary imposing type. But I do heart dairy & eggs & eat them daily. I think that Bacon will one day be my downfall.

wondering what's gonna happen next on Dexter, Weeds, or LOST. My little nephew whose development amazes me every single day. How to prioritize my time.... sometimes I over think it & then time is lost negating the real benefit of prioritizing my time. The next project to do in my yard. If I were attacked by a cougar (or crazy person depending on the day) at this very moment what would I do? umm... sex?...C'mon doesn't everyone?... don't lie.

I went to parochial school & my family is Irish Catholic.

I'm a terrible actress & am very poor at lying. Subsequently I am a rather honest person. I see lying as being far more trouble than its worth since I really cannot pull it off well. Plus the added bonus that it's the right thing to do.
