My self-summary
Oh a place to talk about me... Well I am an awesTOOT guy... Wait what was that? I am really TOOT. Ohh I get it, sorry about that thats just my horn. Haha. lame joke aside, my name is David. I am smart most of the time, an ass sometimes, and a smart-ass all of the time. My humor ranges from childish to cerebral, but is always present.
What I’m doing with my life
I have an awesome job at a small residential architectural firm, where I kick names and take ass, whoops I meant kick ass and take names, Freudian slip there. I moved up from Portland for the job and I am having a grand old time making friends to explore what the Seattle area has to offer. That said I am still taking applications for a good Seattle tour guide, please include in your cover letter the top three Seattle puns/jokes that will be used in your tour guiding.
I’m really good at
I’m really good at figuring things out. I can usually figure out how to put something back together. I can figure out what I need to do to get the job done. I would like to claim that I am also really good at disc golf but in reality I think that moderately good is all my skill justifies. I do still love it. And just as an FYI a girl that can best me in a round of disc golf is endlessly sexy, and a girl that enjoys disc golf is pretty awesome too.
The first things people usually notice about me
They notice how much I look like that one guy that dated their grandma that one time. I guess I just have one of those faces. Nobody has told me what else they first noticed about me other than that, so I’ll just make stuff up and say that they notice how smart, funny, awesomely sexy, and pretty much all around god like I am. Oh and I am also extremely humble.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This list can get lengthy, so here is for brevity.

Books: Fiction, preferably science fiction.
Movies: Anything once, very few more than once
Shows: Comedy shows, hulu, sidereel, netflix
Music: Alternative rock, NPR, Pandora, GrooveShark
Food: Most anything. A meal in a pill is a small dream of mine.
The six things I could never do without
1.) My social circle, which includes some awesome friends, my roommate, my sister and adorable niece.
2.) My intellect. I think it is one of my best attributes and my self-worth would suffer without it. I’m not a snob. I’m not going to say I’m smarter than you. That said, I am looking for a girlfriend that values her intellect too.
3.) A place to call my own. I love to go out and explore this, that and the other thing, but it is always nice to come back home as well. Basically a base of operations from which to plan my various adventures.
4.) My computer. It has all my important files, my work from college, and I do watch a lot of Hulu, sidereel, and netflix on it. I don't have cable and have no desire for it.
5.) My morning shower. I don't care if it's five in the evening I haven't woken up and my day hasn't started until I have had a nice hot shower.
6.) My dog Huxley. He's a Jack Russell Terrier and whippet and very much adorable.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend too much time thinking about things that I know are impossible like perpetual motion machines and time travel and then how they would be used in trivial circumstances. Imagine if you could go to a store and they ask you if you want next day delivery or yesterday delivery? Then you go home it is already set up. I know your mind is blown, right?

I also spend a lot of time playing the greener game. The greener game is basically a dilemma that I find I come across on a daily basis. Its the dilemma that I have every time I put a pot of water on to boil or grab a napkin or plate for a slice of toast as well as tons of other random activities. Is it more efficient to run the water (wasting water) to get to the hot water that is then faster to boil (saving electricity) or is it better to save the water and waste the electricity? If you know the answer to these questions PLEASE let me know, it kills me not to know.
On a typical Friday night I am
I am: out with a group of friends closing down a bar and seeing who can get the best laugh out of each other while having a great time, sitting on my couch watching a Netflix movie with my roommate, walking around Woodinville enjoying old grape juice, hosting a board/card game night, maybe with some culinary attempts of grandeur, at the drunken clam with my friends Quagmire, Peter and Joe. Ahh... I'm sorry, yeah not that last one, I just looked at my hand, I am not a cartoon.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
It has come to my attention that I am too honest and open for my own good. So as bad as it sounds I am trying to be a better liar and more reserved. Thus far I have not been doing well. Damn I do suck at this I was just open and honest about trying to be less open and honest. I guess it will just have to be chocked up to a character flaw on my part.
I’m looking for
  • Straight girls only
  • Ages 22–32
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
If you’ve read this far and haven’t called up your friend and said look at this loser.

If you are looking for a guy that knows how to treat a woman (I know that sounds trite but I am the nice guy that all the girls talk about, I really am). I am a guy that can make you laugh even when you don't want to, that is quirky and proud of it, that is easy going and adaptable, and a guy that will stop at nothing to make you happy.

If you are smart and have a good sense of humor. If you can say you are quirky with a sense of pride or at least enjoy the company of those who can. If you want to get off this silly site and have a good beer while having a better conversation with the best guy.
