I have been blessed with many wonderful gifts in this life. Some have come in the form of challenging lessons but nothing I didn't ask for on some level. I am kind and likable, generous of spirit and pretty smart and interesting too. I have had my share of life experiences, got a good education, and have traveled the world.

Now in my mid forties I feel like I've finally caught my stride.

I split my time currently between a home and couple of kids in Colorado and a business in Jacksonville. My life here in Jax is almost exclusively about work as I don't know many folks. I am looking for a friend/playmate in Jax to go out with, enjoy music, movies, food, etc.

I am not religious but profoundly spiritual. I am fulfilled when I am in service of something greater than myself. In my heart I feel much younger than my years.

I love adventure, the outdoors, good food, good movies, good times, and deeply connecting with others.

Constantly growing and moving towards what I want in this life... abundance of clarity, wisdom, love, material comfort, adventure and fun. Working to achieve balance between self and Self, between work and play, action and contemplation, giving and taking. Raising two kids, running a business, teaching yoga, adventuring inward and outward, exploring and enjoying life and this our truly magical world.

Diplomacy, collaboration, clear thinking, yoga, skiing, creative problem solving, domestic and mechanical arts, running my business.

Books: this could be a long list. I tend to read non-fiction. I prefer books in the realm of spirituality and eastern philosophy... The Alchemist stands out as a favorite novel. Also I recently read Cupid's Poison Arrow which I found revolutionary in the realm of sexuality. ... Emerson, Thoreau, Krishnamurti, Jack Kornfield...

Movies: this list could also be quite long. I enjoy good films of just about any genre... I appreciate good directing, good acting, good writing, etc. Nothing comes up and stands alone as an absolute favorite... I like foreign films, animated films, cult films, independent film, comedies, romances, Tarantino films, inspirational documentaries...

As far as food, I love it all as well... I can be picky because I like quality. I am vegetarian and I love to cook and grow or eat food as fresh as I can get it. Among my favorite types are chinese, japanese, indian, vietnamese, thai, mexican, italian, middle eastern...

usually at home reading, or watching a movie, hanging with my kids or dining with friends. Or I could be camping.

I tend towards being too serious. I have a dry witty and sarcastic sense of humor. I love to laugh and play yet its a habit for me to address responsibilities first... curable, I think.
