"In this Day" (Spoken Word)

In this Day

I sit away not to distance

for

I can feel the resistance

of futility in me

As one We are One

and Love?

Love can bind with smiles from miles away

and I lay it all out and let it stick

as a trip through the souls of matter's limitation

As a tower I rise and realize my calling

The ringing in my ears that for years

brought about tears and confusion

now is permission

to be

free

Where the doors were shut to keep Truth from me

I allow the Invisible Essence to animate and recreate

the foundation of elation that binds my memories

like an incurable disease for which I need no medication

other than that remedy Glory has awakened in me

So free as the clear wind I send

a beat more than a score

to your heart

In my life a few signs of lies crushed years in a puff

and self destruct led me here

to reconstruct myself to be with you

Now

Flipping the page

I engage

responsibilities of devotion and needs

of honesty

sincerity

I request these to resurface form the depths

in hopes that from the pores of this skinned-up vessel

where my heart beats with a pound that inflates

I can relate my truths on the outside

This distance

is but an instance of eternity

and it burns in me

In this day

not just to secretly flicker away

but laid bare

to blaze out

before the eyes of all

In this Day

I sit away not to distance

for

I can feel the resistance

of futility in me

As one We are One

DISCOVERY

Discovery of what we find in our minds beneath the shadows of reflections

and memories seen through the scenes of constancy.

Like the flow of rippling thoughts gathered for the hands of truth

to grab hold of and spread fearlessly across the plains of existence.

Sounding out a thunderous BOOM throughout the skies expanse at a glance

and release in a blink this limitless here and now again

with a cyclical reverberation of radiance shining from a central fixation.

-of self

-of selfless

-of selfish

-of self expression I cannot keep to myself.

This is for you.

This, is for you.

...and black is bleeding into white, or the other way around the corner of my eye

I see myself again in those looking back listening to the truths bestowed in

Discovery of what we find in our minds beneath the shadows of reflections

and memories seen through the scenes of constancy.

Undone.
