Hi, I am new to online matching, and a little skeptical about it. I am looking for friends, which is difficult because so much cynicism exist in our society. I am on here really to see what is out here in the world for someone like myself. Feel free to drop me a line, I won't bite. I am most interested in learning about the many different perspective that you beautiful ladies posses.

I am divorced and at a "starting over" stage in my life. Naturally I am looking for friendships, and insights and, developing an awareness for what to look for in a future potential mate.

A rose will not stay when the summer goes
When the warmth has left and the mold has grown
And the cold has set and cast its throne
On the hearts of souls that have died alone

In twinkling eye we look for the pieces
Into the quivering thigh we insert our reasons
To plant our heart and watch it grow
But a rose will not stay when the summer goes

It will not create a scene,
And jump up and down and act all mean
And wear a frown and sink down low
And beg of you to bask in its glow

It will sink into the ground
Soft and sweet without a sound
And if ever you should look around
Never a trace of it is found

So here we are standing today
Looking for love that will not sway
But trying to get the rose to stay
Is like trying to hold the sun at the end of the day.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Hi, my name is Sum1. I am currently a Finance major at Georgia State University in the final year of my undergraduate studies. I shall be taking my CFA exams pretty next year. I also have law school ambitions as a long term goal. I can afford to attend college at my age as a result of me being a combat veteran of the U.S navy. I am a highly advanced martial artist, who trains under a living legend and I box as well. I am aspiring to become a financial analyst, and business magnet by way of creating enterprises that provide financial services. I am also looking to facilitate the spread of the martial art under which I train. These two entities, school and training, consume a great deal of my time. I am on this site to create friendships and learn from the experiences that will surly present themselves here. Maybe I shall find or learn how to find Mrs. Right, and avoid Mrs. Wrong. Maybe I shall learn how to carry and present myself in the best manner to best employ the sincere efforts in which I have to ensure that I carry out this mission.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am good at talking, listening, reading, writing, cooking, dancing, karate, school, loving, eating, and boxing. I also know how to clean and organize things well and am in general a person of substantial measure and ingenuity. I am good at reflecting and conversation. Some "could" consider me wise.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a lager than average nose...then they may notice my eyes....then my height....then my proportion. Once they get past that they can sense my intellect and spirit.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite books are Being and Nothingness, Roots, Native Son, Nausea, On the Road, All Quiet on the Western Front, War and Peace, All things Fall Apart, East of Eden, Gone with the Wind, Tale of Two Cities, etc. I also enjoy reading plays from Williams, O'Neil, Albee, Hansbury, Wilson, etc. I mostly read book regarding history and political science...don't read a lot of fiction anymore. My favorite movies are far too many to mention, but one could easily guess that as an historian, I can see the value of all types of movies extending to all periods...and I study them objectively like a nerd. I will say that I like old Hollywood movies, historical drams, inspirational, and comedies. I love dance shows and art exhibits. I love all types of music and make a long point shorter, I consider myself a renaissance man and an existentialist who enjoys experiences and one could say that I am somewhat cultured.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I can't can't do without my freedom, my mind, my hope, my ambitions, my heart, and my measure.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time reflecting on live and how to develop a science for living to better get the most out of it. I spend a lot of time thinking about how to better refine my experiences how to become more real and how to contribute positively to our shared consciousnesses.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing homework, but sometimes I like to go out and dance....which is my favorite recreation when my obligations have been met. Otherwise, I can find something to read or watch on TV, usually a documentary...I am very comfortable at home and am often pleased with my own company.....but would not mind incorporating yours.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have to fight the disgusting and nasty habit of biting my nails...I catch myself before I do so...but like I said, I have to think about it.

you like to chat, talk, share thoughts, write, wish to meet to do something constructive, if you like to go out and especially dance, if you are concerned about a guy being too pushy or crazy, and if you trust yourself enough to trust that I am who I say I am.
