Life is not worth it if you are not learning something new everyday, not working toward some goal or dream. I'm a creative and active person. Sitting around doing nothing is not my style. I value my time very much and try to make the most of it, inching towards my goals a little each day. Recently I've spent my time on things such as perfecting homemade ice cream, training the very energetic/no attention span horse, picking up heavy things and planning more ways spend time with my good friends.
I love to cook lots of food and invite people over and occasionally dressing up in a pretty dress. However, I'll be the first to say yes to outdoor activities like camping, hiking, running and the like.
Halloween time is always fun, I even got the Scariest Costume Award once, never thought that would happen (last minute creativity paid off).
I really don't want to wait for the future to live my life to the fullest, how about right now?
What I’m doing with my life
Working on advancing my career but definitely not living to work even if I do enjoy my job. Spending as much time as possible on all of my hobbies. Those horses won't train themselves.
I’m really good at
Making too much food, feeding people, organizational skills, maintaining long term friendships, making lists, playing with clay, telling it like it is.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a serious, focused and logical person. Sometimes it is hard to tell my thoughts or feelings from my facial expression and tone of voice.
They may also notice the pretty dresses I've been wearing more often.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't read as much as I'd like but any book that catches my interest and I can't put down works fine. I did enjoy Dan Brown books, Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series, Hunger Games and non-fiction such as American Sniper, The Immortal Life Of Henrietta Lacks, Seabiscuit, Born To Run, etc.
Not really much time left for TV, I'd rather be in the kitchen or outside!
Super hero movies, The Avengers, Batman, X-Men, any good action movie or good drama works for me. No stupid comedies, horror, romantic comedies, chick flicks, ugh.
I love to experiment in the kitchen. Homemade is always going to taste better is my motto. I just can't handle Indian, no matter how much I try it.
Although I'm up for getting sushi ANYTIME.
The six things I could never do without
Life is definitely not worth living without these things:
Friends and family
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My various hobbies, I have many and they all require a lot of thought, planning and practice. I like to have a goal and then make a plan on how to accomplish it. Then I need to stick to the plan!
I'm also always thinking which friend do I need to catch up with or invite for dinner if possible.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most likely at the barn, unless there is some event that has been planned in advance. Maybe I'm on a date with you :-)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I do not have Netflix nor do I plan to sign up.
You should message me if
You have goals and dreams for your life and have something to show for all your hard work. If you are ready for a serious relationship with a person who tells it like it is.
You're ok with someone who is not religious. If you are very serious about religion and want 5 kids, we are not a good match.
