Please excuse all the "I's" in this profile. I find self promotion a bit excessive and most times unnatural.

I've been called a 'succinct smart ass' and every word individually.

I am not sure I would get a long with someone who blatantly self promotes themselves like gossip magazine regular. I am more concerned about the doing and being than the ego.

I am a guy who has designed and built (some carving too) his own bed frame, out three kinds of hard wood, on an uneven floor and still managed to get it straight.

What i find most appealing is a woman who is unique to herself and who has an open exploratory opinion.

I am not the type of guy to jump into a relationship or jump in the sack after a couple of dates. I would like to get to know a woman first and then explore the physical side of a relationship.

I am also the type that dates one woman at a time. So if you are a multiple dater, until months down the road when you decide you're in a relationship, please move on as I find those situations more complicated than they are worth.

I am uncomplicated and like to keep my life that way. I accept people for who they are; not any concept of what they should be.

Due to past life learning lesson (work and private life) I find myself along the road of restarting my nest egg.

I have the pleasure to work for a living

I have friends I like hanging out with every once in awhile.

I play some sports. Active with: Skiing, softball, mountain biking, any water activity. Couldn't ice skate to save my life.

I have the family I grew up with and am looking for a woman to start a family to grow with.

Still a work in progress.
However, I am keen on academics...checking out whether or not to pursue a MA in Business or Archaeology after completing a post grad certificate in Lean Six Sigma.
I have written 2 YA novels for my nieces and nephews. I am currently working on fiction novel, for myself, that takes place in America during the 50's to 70's. No real desire to publish. It is the act of writing which is important to me; not the search for getting published.
I have taught a few people how to downhill ski.

The first is probably that i'm tall. The second, if they are talking with me on the phone, then it would be my voice. The third thing they notice, I would have to say, is that I am easy going.

I notice most women have been mentioning authors. My favourite two books are 'wrong side of Paris' by Balzac and 'coming up for air' by Orwell.
Movies: Star Wars, Blade Runner, 12 Angry Men, Mr Smith goes to Washington.

Let's switch this up. How about three things I could do without.

Materialistic people - I know they are not a thing. It is more the thing they represent.
Duck fat in everything
Canada Goose jackets

The probability of possibilities. That I should be writing more often.

Living a varied life, but visiting dance clubs is well behind me.
