My Self-Summary
I've been living in DC for the past year and love it here. I'm
originally from the South and fiercely defend it. I'm interested in
politics, history, music, and culture. I'm energetic, progressive,
and love traveling.
What I’m doing with my life
Working for the feds. Thinking about going to grad school soon for
Political Science or Public Policy. I also have a tendency to leave
normal life to jump on the campaign trail within a week's notice.
I’m really good at
Sweet-talking (ha, just kidding) Campaigning. I'm also in a choir
and love singing.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I generally switch up my reading list from novels to history and
politics nonfiction that I can't remember from college and books on
political strategy. Nerd alert!
Some favorite movies: The American President, Big Fish, Monty Python anything, I <3 Huckabees, Love Actually, Clue, lots of others I can't think of right now.
Music-wise, I am very eclectic: North Mississippi Allstars, Old Crow Medicine Show, Ryan Adams, U2, Paul Simon, Pink Martini, Feist, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, Joni Mitchell.
I love love love Indian and Thai food. And I go through withdrawl if I don't have Mexican food a few times a month. DC disappoints in terms of good Mexican food... Also, I love Cajun/Creole food.

The six things I could never do without
family, friends, my music, independence, sweet potatoes, travel.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
everything. I think a lot. To the point of exhaustion at times.
