Chance encounters and mutual friend hookups weren't working out too well, so after a 2 year hiatus, thought I'd give this a shot. My interests include, but of course not limited to, singing, travel, sunny weather, and comfy sweaters. I was born and partially raised in Nigeria, so I'm a good mix of both countries where I grew up (at least, in my head :) ) I speak Yoruba. I love cheesy 80's rock music. I have a gap. Of course, there's more random stuff I could say here, but...

I work as a psychologist..I help the kiddos in school who are having emotional, neurological, and behavioral barriers to learning. .
I'm in the midst of recording an EP of songs I've written and have been performing for the past year or so. This year has also brought a renewed focus on an active lifestyle.

My hair

A book called Blues Tumbling by Diane McKinney-Whetstone is one of my favorite pieces of fiction. Not too much of a movie person. Nigerian music, classic jazz, and soul are some types of music I enjoy. Food - fried plantains, pasta anything, cheesecake. I also recently started putting blueberries and cucumbers in ev-er-y-thing.

I could very well do without these things but they make my life a LOT more comfortable...My mac and iphone (a little addicted), a space heater, my purple fleece robe, a tube of chapstick, and my car.

The future and what I can do now to make it better

Either out at an event of some kind with a friend/friends or out to dinner. I also may very well be in my bed by 9.
