I am whimsical, a day-dreamer, and eccentric.
My Self-Summary
Hi. I am not here for dating. No, not even a little bit. No, not
even if you're hot. Got that? Good. I'm here for the
quizzes.
I'm a nerd, mostly into
Star Wars and
Lord of the Rings. I like
chocolate, my
fencing lessons,
reading, and
writing.
I might be open to a
friendship. But if you approach me
expecting any kind of romance, I'm going to be very disappointed
that you ignored the warnings.
I believe in keeping my word to others, and I believe in others
doing the same for me. I would not betray a friend, but if someone
betrayed me I would react badly. I love my friends. I'm also quite
protective of them; I don't like the idea of their getting hurt. I
like it when I'm able to help people. I don't like it when there's
nothing I can do.
This site's classifications kind of suck. If you pick 'Not
interested/Seeing someone', it shows up only as the second. We need
more classifications. Also, at the very least an 'it's complicated'
for orientation, because this one's not entirely accurate. No, I
won't go into more detail. If I wind up close friends with somebody
I might tell them, but the rest of you don't need to know, because
nothing's going to happen between us anyway.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a
university student. Hoping to become
a writer. At present, I'm mainly just hanging out online, being a
geek.
I’m really good at
I draw, write stories and poetry, and tell really weird jokes.
The first things people usually notice about me
The fact that I have red hair. It stands out a bit.
Other than that...the fact that I'm very small, and then probably
that I'm likely saying something strange and obscure that even
confuses myself, because I tend to ramble a bit once I start
talking.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
LotR, SW, Harry Potter, the
Night Watch series. I like music
like
Disturbed,
Rise Against,
Evanescence
and
Breaking
Benjamin. Also, a very funny singer known as
Voltaire.
My favourite foods involve sugar.
Hmmm...a few other things...
Hitchhikers'
Guide to the Galaxy, which is extremely funny,
Terry Pratchett novels
especially
Discworld because Discworld is
fantastic,
Tamora Pierce novels, books by
David
Eddings,
Raymond E Feist's books, one of
my friends introduced me to
Within Temptation and
Zeromancer,
ice-cream,
Burn Notice,
Underworld,
Galaxy Quest,
Dracula, rather
shamefully Naruto,
Troy,
300,
Sin City,
Pirates of the
Caribbean,
Garth
Nix'
Old Kingdom Trilogy,
Firefly and
Serenity... Oh,
and more recently, thanks to a friend,
Deep Space Nine/
DS9-
Cardassians are awesome. ^^
The six things I could never do without
The internet. My friends. My family. Lots and lots of books.
Privacy. The essentials like air/food/water, of course...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
All sorts of things. Often about what sort of short story I want to
write next. At other times, some bizarre point of philosophy that
gets a 'what the hell?' if I voice it, because I tend to go off on
tangents, then voice the end result while forgetting to clue
someone in on the intermediate steps, so it looks like a total non
sequitur. But it was somehow connected to the conversation, I
promise!
On a typical Friday night I am
At home, reading or playing around on the computer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
...Will my plans for
galactic domination
do?
...Okay. I memorised the theme tune of Firefly, but I have to sing
it in my head because I really can't sing. Yep, I'm a dork.
You should message me if
You're a fellow sci-fi/fantasy nerd, who feels like friendly
conversation and won't expect me to want to date you.
And if you want to help me take over the Galaxy.
