My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I just graduated from UW Stevens Point with a degree in English Education. I plan to be a teacher. I say plan because I don't have a real job besides part-time work.

I'm a pretty laid back guy. I can get snappy if I get pushed around toouch verbally, but I don't get angry. Heck. I don't remember the last
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I am finishing up student teaching sixth graders in a small town called Rosholt. After that I'll be applying for jobs, working during the day saving up some money, and hopefully working on one of many novels in my head.

Otherwise I plan to make use of my new kayak a lot this summer and that will be complemented with camping of course.

Lastly, my plan, as of this moment, is to save up for a house and eventually move to northern Wisconsin. That's not set in stone though. I just know that I don't want to live in the city. It's not my thing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at writing, being honest, and teaching. If you get to know me, you'll see me writing a lot in my free time. This isn't to say that I don't take in the world around, but it is how I express myself. Plus wanting to be a novelist on the side kind of helps with that.

With me being honest it can sometimes hurt those around me because they don't want to hear the truth. I've been called an asshole many times for speaking my mind. Another thing to note with this is that I never lie. Ever. From a young age I put up with liers, and decided I couldn't and wouldn't live my life with lies. The result is that I'm open about myself and my flaws also.

Lastly, with teaching, I know how to be a good teacher. I go on and on about that, but that isn't about me, it's about my career.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That's a good one... Maybe my hazel eyes? Don't know to be honest, but I do know one thing. I can usually make people laugh within a short time of meeting them.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite Music: Foreigner and The Offspring. I listen to almost everything except rap, including polkas.

Favorite Books: Jurassic Park, my absolute favorite. I simply love dinosaurs. Michael Chrichton novels, are another favorite of mine. Stephen King's The Dark Towers Series. The Hobbit is another one. I read The Lord of the Rings, and have to say it was boring most of the time for me. Way too much history. Otherwise I've been trying to find local Wisconsin authors who write amusing hunting stories. I know it's a very specific thing that I'm looking for but you want to know why message me.

Favorite Movies: Jurassic Park, go figure. Dances With Wolves, and Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. Spaceballs, my favorite comedy.

Favorite Shows: How I Met Your Mother, Lost, Two and A Half Men Seasons 1-9, Seinfeld, The Big Bang Theory, Family Guy, South Park.

Somehow I got roped into watching the The Walking Dead and got hooked.

Food: Love noodles with alfredo. Salads are good if they're smothered in ranch. idk... Mexican- taco's. Love Chinese food.
I'm pretty open with food, the only downside is that I don't care for onions, pickles, or olives. Trust me, I've tried to eat them on multiple occasions. My tastebuds just don't care for them.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family
2. Friends
3. Oxygen
4. Rifle season
5. Writing
6. Reading
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think about ideas for novels, family and my future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I haven't had a typical Friday night in a while, but my ideal Friday night includes going out and having lots of drinks and laughs with good friends.
