My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago and then moved to the suburbs of Detroit in middle school. After we moved my dream was to go to the University of Michigan because of its great basketball and football teams (and school of course). As an alum I'm an even bigger fan to this day. Go Blue!!!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I used to teach middle school Spanish and sponsor the guitar club in the southern burbs. Recently though, I changed careers and am now an investment banker. Totally different fields, I know, but I remain active in the community even though I'm now a suit and tie guy.

Besides playing and watching sports, I love to sing while playing my acoustic guitar. I'm sure you could have guessed but I'm really into playing stuff by The Lumineers, Death Cab for Cutie, Dave Matthews Band, Mumford & Sons, etc.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Music is my passion. So in my free time I love to write and perform songs by the lake. If you play your cards right you might just get a private serenade...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height. If you like to dress up and wear high heels out on the town then I'm your man.

Books: Anything by Chuck Klosterman

TV: Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, The Wire, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, How I Met Your Mother, Archer, The Big Bang Theory, Family Guy, Seinfeld, The Simpsons, South Park...

Movies: Pulp Fiction, SuperBad, The Dark Knight, The Great Escape, Anchorman, Zoolander, Indiana Jones, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, The Matrix, Memento...

Food: I'm a pretty decent cook. My favorite things to make are arroz con pollo and paella. When I'm not cooking I like to go out to eat just about anything. Lately I've been trying to go to as many international restaurants as possible to expand my palate and Chicago has plenty to offer.

Asian - chicken pad thai; Chicago Deep Dish Pizza - Lou Malnati's, Flub-a-Dub-Chub's - Greg's Hangover Burger; Greek - gyros; Harold's fried chicken; Indian - chicken tandoori; Irish -shepherd's pie; Italian - veal, chicken or eggplant parm; Mexican - Uncle Julio's frog leg fajitas; Middle Eastern - lamb marakesh; Spanish - pretty much anything at Cafe Babareeba but especially datiles con tocino (dates wrapped in bacon) and paella.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
...besides the cheesy "good friends and family" of course...

1. The Museum Campus run path
2. My shiny black and gold Washburn acoustic guitar
3. My iPod Touch with over 5,000 songs
4. My smart phone
5. University of Michigan sports
6. Chicago style pizza
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about what song I'm going to learn to play and sing on my acoustic guitar. Suggestions?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On the weekends I like to go to concerts, salsa joints, karaoke bars, improv/comedy, pubs, and clubs.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A couple years ago while teaching in homeroom, a student told me in front of the whole class that I had a "tp tail." I handled it like a champ though and laughed my ass off with them when I realized he wasn't joking. What can I say? I'm cool like the other side of the pillow.
