My self-summary
West Coast transplant looking for a weekend crime partner.

Debating what I should do so that I can't answer the "where do you see yourself in ten years" question.

Exercise, eating, drinking, and board games are all high on my list of things to do.

Surfing the internet on my phone too much on the bus; I think Reddit is giving me eye cancer.

Debating my next Halloween costume (though being a Lego was pretty awesome).

Playing sports, not watching sports. Would you rather eat or watch someone eat? (Ok, that question was more applicable before the Tokyo Terror stuffed 60 hot dogs in his mouth in 12 minutes).

If any of the above piques your interest, keep reading or ask me something! But nothing about thermodynamics or quantum theory please.- you'll get a polite "um... what?"
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to get more vacation time. Exercising a lot so as to keep in shape. When I'm not studying I'm outside or with friends drinking or playing board games or vintage video games (I'm always ready for Super Nintendo).
I’m really good at
Super Mario Kart (we're talking 1992 level graphics). I could go pro, if pro-Super Mario Kart existed.

Nerdy board games. Settlers of Catan, among others. If you know Settlers, I'd love to play sometime.

Complaining about Metro. I know we have the best metro system in the country, but it takes more time to go from DCA to Silver Spring on the Metro than from LaGuardia to DCA. Seriously guys?

And cookies! I'm really good at cookies; I openly invite any of you to a cookie bake-off. These ain't easy like mommy's cookies, so don't start thinking that the recipe on the back of the Nestle chocolate chips bag will cut it.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair is pretty good at standing straight up. I sometimes wonder whether I have memory foam instead of hair when I take my bike helmet off. And my devilishly good looks (at least that's what my magic mirror tells me, but the face always winks when he says that).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
All about movies! Paul Thomas Anderson, Korean horror films, Spielberg (just saw Lincoln) and Aronofsky are favorite film-makers of mine.

I guess I should list something else besides movies... statistics textbooks, social insurance analyses, and math books are always a favorite. (end sarcasm). Starting to read more on the bus; Terry Pratchett and Steven Brust are in my bag currently.

Breaking Bad, Archer, Arrested Development, and South Park are favorites. I also enjoy the crime dramas (Castle, Law & Order) on the TV when I'm at the gym (and it's either running on the treadmill or dying of heat on the sidewalk this time of year).

As for food, I have a serious sweet tooth. I don't call home home unless my cookie jar is full (and no store-bought crap!) When I'm not eating dessert, I'm eating anything that can be put in front of my plate, be it Thai, sushi rolls, Alaskan salmon (yes I can tell the difference between Pacific and Atlantic salmon, and Atlantic salmon is not as good), or whatever you can feed me. And apparently I can eat spicy food; the East Coast has a serious lack of spicy food compared to the West Coast.
The six things I could never do without
Running, lots of sleep, my independence, avocados, and coffee. Hopefully some of these are high on your list too- if you don't like 8 hours of sleep every night, I strongly advise you not to wake me early. If the avocado isn't high on your list, you should probably apply for new taste buds at the Department of Zest.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What my next office prank should be. I'm thinking of moving a coworker's cube into the closet. Or moving everything in the closet into the coworker's cube (Some of the people in my office need to be taught a lesson).
On a typical Friday night I am
Drinking wine/beer/scotch with friends, or recovering from a long work week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I still avoid stepping on cracks on the sidewalk. My mother's back is still unbroken.
