Most people meet their mate at work. I am a personal chef, so I work alone in peoples kitchens. I am not really that interested in a long term commitment with a toaster oven.

My son is 21 and I feel like I have completed the hard work of raising him. Now I can explore the world and all it has to offer. What kind of fantastic fun do you think we could get in to?

I read a lot, mostly non-fiction. For my 40th birthday I ran my first half marathon and I am working on getting fit. I am not losing weight because I think fat is ugly or I have low self esteem. I am beautiful exactly as I am and if you don't get that, don't worry, plenty of awesome people do. It does mean when we go out that we have to be a little more creative with our dining choices.

My ex-husband called me "The Swiss Army Wife" I can do a lot of things well. I am skilled at everything from changing out an alternator by the side of the road to making balloon animals. Between my career and my volunteer work I have taken on tasks like coordinating charity auctions, planning camping trips for 500 attendees, writing million dollar grants, planning travel for large groups, creating amazing art, breathtaking cards and one of a kind gifts, creating organization out of chaos and making sure I leave the world a better place when I am done.

I am especially good at cooking, and loving the beejeesus out of people, which I often express by cooking for them.

Acoustical, Old Country. I am currently addicted to Jonathan Byrd and listen to his Cackalack CD almost every day.
Food: I am an amazing cook and love to create gourmet meals at
home. I will not eat at most chain restaurants. I love adventurous
comfort foods. I love Ethiopian, Indian, Thai, sushi, poke, African
ground nut stew and things like that.
And Poetry:
I love spoken word. I am a huge fan of hearing poetry read out
loud.
