The name's Jeremiah, but most people usually call me Jere. I like that. My name, like me, can be formal and proper when necessary, but is usually laid-back and fun. I think I am a very interesting person to hang around, and I am quite possibly the last romantic guy left on the planet. I prefer to have friends over for a home-cooked dinner and a movie rather than going out to a club or a party. I am close to my friends and family and really enjoy spending time with them when I am free. When I don't feel like staying in, I ~LOVE~ taking road trips, especially to national or state parks. I enjoy intellectually-stimulating conversation, perhaps because I am a bit of a nerd. I find good in everything and am generally optimistic in all areas of life. Finally, if you know what it means, my personality type is ISFJ.

I seem to work a lot. In the evenings you will find me relaxing at home with my partner and watching a bit of TV. On the weekends, I really enjoy visiting with friends or hiking, road tripping, and playing with my dog, Bear, who looks exactly like Toto (think Wizard of Oz).

I am a recent transplant to southeast Nashville, and would welcome some reliable friends.

I have a variety of talents... probably more than I could list here, but a few things my friends agree I am good at are computers, problem-solving (my friends often come to me for support), and fixing things (I especially enjoy fixing electronic gadgetry). Perhaps I should just say I am a jack of all trades (master at some!).

My eyes seem to attract a great deal of attention. They're a good shade of blue. My personality seems to be a hit, too. I'm really easy-going, poke fun at everything, and like to have a good time talking with those around me.

I love reading, but I generally choose to read educational material over novels. I can spend hours reading articles on Wikipedia.

As for movies, I really enjoy horror flicks, dramas, comedies, and any movie with a twisty surprise ending. As for television, I enjoy adult cartoons (Family Guy, South Park, Simpsons, American Dad, Robot Chicken), whodunnits on TruTV, and *blushes* Star Trek (The Next Generation and Voyager).

The genres of music I enjoy most are Soft Rock and Adult Contemporary, but I enjoy bits from many other genres, too. I like a lot of 80s, 90s, and newer stuff that isn't too hard. When I'm feeling romantic, I like to play soothing classical music, too.

Finally, with regard to my tastes in foods, I really enjoy pizza, lasagna, and almost anything that comes in a box or a can and takes less than 8 minutes to microwave (What can I say? I'm a product of the 80s!). Heh! I can cook, but I generally only do so when I am cooking for more than just me. I'm not half bad, if I do say so myself...

My love, Thomas, my family and my friends always come first. Everyone always knows he/she can call me with a problem at any time, even at 3 AM. I am always available.

Really, I ~could~ live without the others, so long as I had my sweetheart, my friends and the family around, but they ARE really nice things to have...

I very rarely drink, and do not enjoy clubs, so bars and clubs are out. Usually, I like to invite one or more friends over to my place, cook dinner, play games, and watch movies together.

You know, I'm not terribly private. There's something to be said for being open and honest about everything. At the moment, I can't think of anything noteworthy. I'm not big on secrets.
