My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like to think of myself as a walking statistical aberration, as I am gay, ambidextrous, intelligent, geeky and a black belt. There are many things that I can do well, but I thrive on being able to many of them simultaneously. I am a man of few words, but when I speak, I try cut to the heart of what’s important. In matters of emotion, I remain outwardly reserved, which can make me very difficult to read, but I am also deeply passionate. This is why I have a small circle of friends who are very close to me. I value loyalty, honesty, wisdom and honor.

I'm confident, intelligent and honorable.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am just starting a Ph.D. program in accounting, I am looking forward to becoming a college professor in a few short years.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...accounting and economics. I definitely chose the right majors, even though they're not usually put together. I love accounting because it puts my perfectionism to good use, and economics because it requires deep analytical thought.

...martial arts. I've been practicing for nine years now, and I have my third degree black belt. I teach when I can, which is interesting as my students are usually older than I am.

...random trivia. I remember way too many things, which is great for playing trivial pursuit, but not useful for much else. It also doesn't help that some of my areas of expertise are Star Wars, Dungeons & Dragons and Roman history.

...listening. Many of my friends come to me when they need to talk. I think that my quiet nature has helped me develop great listening skills.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is that I look like I'm about 17. It varies, but most people find it hard to believe that I've finished high school, let alone college. I may be carded until the day I die, but I know I'll enjoy it when I get older.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I read mostly science fiction, economics and martial arts books, which leads to some interesting looks when the three are purchased simultaneously. I have read a good portion of the printed Star Wars material ABY. There is also usually at least one economics or political sciences book on my stack.

About the only kind of movies that I don't like are horror films. Most of the time, I watch action movies, comedies and romantic comedies. I also love to pull out my favorite movies and watch them over again.

There are many show that I'll watch, but only a few that I really follow. I watch the Daily Show and the Colbert Report every day and religiously follow Teen Wolf. Other than that, I have been catching up on some old favorites on Netflix (Star Trek: TNG, Frasier, HIMYM) and watching some things I missed (Arrow, Doctor Who, Greek)

Music is really important to me, and I'm willing to listen to just about anything. I listen to a lot of things I've sung, including some classical music and many, many musical soundtracks. I also have a number of video game soundtracks and all the music from Glee.

I love food of all kinds, and I'm willing to try just about anything. About the only thing I won't eat is seafood. (Although only when it's cooked, I love sushi) I also love to cook even though I don't have the chance to do it that often.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Caffiene
Computer
An Android Phone
My video game collection
Music
Martial Arts
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
...Martial Arts. I practice and teach when I can, and I read books on martial arts now and then. I have also been know to stretch and practice techiques at odd times, especially when I'm wating for something.

...Economics. After four years of classes, it comes naturally and sometimes I can't help myself. I like to pick up new books on economic thought; Freakonomics was one of my favorites.

...Everything and nothing. My mind wanders a lot, so my thoughts can be rather random at times.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing video games by myself or out playing games with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
