My self-summary
I'm here to find someone who can be part of something special. My guess is that you are here for that same thing too.

I love paradoxes, and relish in "complexity." I am a take charge sort-of-guy. I am confident without cockiness, patient without being a pushover, and intelligent without overbearing arrogance. I am very witty, but I also understand that sometimes seriousness is needed. My friends tell me that I am a creative visionary who is full of inspiration and integrity. I consider myself, and everyone I meet an "artwork-in-progress". (I think a sense of spirituality is very important--emphasis on "sense",--but I'm not going to presume that there is a correct way to find it.)

I am insightful, ambitious, and seriously silly.
What I’m doing with my life
I have two main passions in my life: (1) my daytime job is to help children and adults see and think better, and (2) my evening job as a performing arts comedy teacher is to help shy people be more outgoing, smart people be humble, and ordinary people act extraordinary.
I’m really good at
teaching/performing improvisational comedy, vision therapy, interpreting statistical data and dreams, and nurturing people to grow...
The first things people usually notice about me
I have a bright smile--completely natural. I am a loud laugher and enjoy good jokes (even if they are inappropriate and at my expense).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
*I'm a sucker for well-written, thought-provoking movies.
*I enjoy listening to current Top 40 stuff, but I secretly prefer listening to oldies. (Please don't judge me for listening to country.)
*I don't really read fiction ever since I stopped reading the bible. *I prefer non-fiction with insight into human behavior, and I love watching TED lectures.
The six things I could never do without
1) a professional challenge
2) my tempur-pedic bed
3) email/internet
4) knowing that I helped people grow as people
5) my wit and my wits
6) people to teach
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the theoretical limits of improv comedy and human perceptual psychology. Although recently, I've started thinking more about financial investments and macro economic theories. I have started a budding interest in aquaponics.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm usually performing in or running my theatre. (I figure at some point if it is successful, then eventually I can hand the reigns over to someone else, and take the occasional night off.) Usually afterwards, I head out to karaoke.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I wish I were as talented as Tim Minchin. I want to be him when he grows up. My favorites so far are:

I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 25–36
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
*you like to think.
*you are non-judgmental of others.
*you are really sweet and good (and want to explore your bad side :) )

MY IDEAL: Someone who loves life, laughter, and what she does. She must have a passion/ambition for something. She may not be an artist, but she must have a sense of artistry in whatever she does. If she adores children, even better. (Selfishness turns me off.) Truthfully, I would like to be surprised. Intelligence is sexy, and intellectual curiosity is a must.
