Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Okay, I don't even know what to say here, mostly due to other than
the fact that I'm an English Education Major currently undergoing
his first year at graduate school for a Masters in Mathematics. I
like to think of myself as intelligent, but there are always new
things to learn from people. I'm a big fan of stories, and I love
to get them from various places and people.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently, I am attempting to find a job teaching either
english/literature/writing or in math for high school or middle
school. I substitute teach while attending classes. I am working
towards a Master's at Roosevelt University for Mathematics with an
Actuarial Science concentration.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
creatively solving problems. Whether I actually solve them or not
is a completely different story, but I'll come up with something
that is at least a fresh look at whatever is going on.
The first things people usually notice about me

my voice. Not that it's good or anything, but that it's there. I
tend to be loud and direct, even if I say the wrong thing. I
learned at a young age how to speak over a crowd, even yell over a
large group of people, so it's hard to stop.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Authors would be easier to list: Brandon Sanderson, Robert
Jordan, Stephen King, Ayn Rand, Dennis Lehane,
Movies: anything that is engaging or fun. Recently, I was able to
see the American version of "The Girl with the Dragon
Music: I'm eclectic, which includes good rap/hiphop - not modern
Television: Netflix is a terrible terrible vice... I'm just saying.
I tend to avoid most reality television, mostly because I don't
care about other people's lives. I want stories, even if I end up
watching the same show multiple times ::cough cough, Fringe::
Food: i like food and will try any thing once. i enjoy Italian and
have a great desire to try real cuisine of any culture. I'm jealous
of Andrew Zimmerman and Anthony Bourdan for their jobs.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My writing notebook/laptop
3. Chai tea latte
4. my friends
5. access to wikipedia
6. chicken wings
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Stories. Whether its film, television, books or games, even from
other people, I am a fan of stories in all forms. I love listening
to them and learning from them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Writing and enjoying the lack of school. I'm more likely to go out
on Saturday since Friday is my day to relax.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like office supplies. I don't know why, but every time I go to
office max or depot, I can spend hours there just looking at pens
and papers, and thinking of all the fantastic things that can be
done with them. I also hate back-to-school sales because of this
interest, since I want to buy everything.
