My self-summary
I have a sarcastic and dry sense of humor. Old people say that I remind them of Bob Newhart, whoever that is. Socially retarded and a shyness that is criminally vulgar.

I moved to Salt Lake a few years ago. It seems like an ok place although I wonder how many tumors I'm getting from this smog that fills up the valley.

I like to hike. Not big ones necessarily just day hikes or ones that take a few hours after work.

I found a chihuahua in the snow one winter, I never found the owners, he likes to hike too. He is the coolest, least-yappy chihuahua you will ever meet.
What I’m doing with my life
Working for the man. I go running when I'm not too lazy. I like to do races. I like to go to concerts, festivals and movies. I want to travel more.
I’m really good at
Chillin. Cooking, despite my kitchen being the size of a broom closet. Lifting heavy things. Crisis management.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
All food, especially anything Asian/Mediterranean. Not so much Italian.

Shows: Walking Dead, American Horror Story, True Blood, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Futurama, Bones, Castle, etc.. Shows FOX shouldn't have cancelled: Arrested Development, Firefly.

I'll watch about any movie but most of them seem formulaic. Primer was amazing. Dawn of the Dead is my favorite zombie movie (right next to Shawn of the Dead for favorite zombie-comedy). French-mystery/action-thrillers. Castaway on the Moon. Tarantino, Guillermo.

Music: I like a lot of stuff. I consume music more rapidly than books (headphones are a boon in my occupation). Some of my all time favs are Bloc Party, The Decemberists, Kaiser Chiefs, Interpol, The Stars, The Weepies, The Smiths, The Cure, Broken Social Scene, Arcade Fire (but not the last album so much) I could listen to The National for days, Empire of the Sun, Beach House. The last few days Blouse, Jenny O., Shabazz Palaces, Wake Owl, Future of the Left, Kendrick Lamar and El Perro Del Mar...

Books: I read a lot, usually the thicker the better since I go through them so fast I need to get my money's worth. Used to be a lot of horror, sic-fi and fantasy: G.R.R. Martin, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Jim Butcher, Anne Rice, Simon Greene, Robert Jordon. Tom Clancy is good too they don't come much thicker than that. Lately I have been reading murder mysteries, Val McDermid, Tara French. Also the occasional taoist, buddhist, economic, science, self-help or fitness book. Right now I am reading The Historian, seems like it will be a good time. After that, 100 years of solitude.
On a typical Friday night I am
Seems like that is the time of week where something different always happens.

If you don't find me physically repellant. You would like to go to the Twilight Concert Series or would like to make walktails and go to gallery stroll. If you are a morning person and like to running or hiking. If you are currently trying to archive all of Netflix in your brain. If you want to visit some far away places.
