My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a sarcastic, Jane Austen loving nerd. I love to read; I could spends hours just sitting and reading a good book but I also love watching sports, particularly the Celtics. I am not the hiking type but I like to try new things and love a good craft beer.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a 3rd grade teacher; I spend most of my time correcting papers or planning the next weeks lessons. I'm definitely in need of a break sometimes.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
making scrambled eggs and steeping tea
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm pretty opinionated and I love a good spirited debate.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My favorite book is pretty much impossible to say because I have so many. Definitely all of the Jane Austen books, any of Meg Cabot's books, and loads of children's books: The Giving Tree, Meg Mackintosh Mysteries, Library Lion, Splat the Cat, etc.

I like all different types of music and am always open to listening to new bands and genres except Country. Some of the bands I am really into right now are She & Him, The Script, Frank Sinatra, Florence and the Machine, and Fun.

I also love all types of movies but some of my favorites are Robin Hood (the animated one), the first X-Files movie, Pride and Prejudice (BBC version), Emma, Easy A, Pitch Perfect, 500 Days of Summer, and Accepted.

My favorite TV shows are always changing but right now I am really into Doctor Who, Arrow, Lizzie Bennett Diaries, Psych, Criminal Minds, Leverage, The Daily Show, and HGTV shows.

As far as food is concerned put cinnamon on it and I'm good to go.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lesson plans and what books to read next, pretty much.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either watching the Celtics during basketball season, hanging out with friends at a local dive bar, or at someones house having a board game marathon.
