My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Grew up in in the bay, was looking to move away but didn't get too far. Working as a software engineer in the city with everything that comes with that. I'm definitely nerdy, and have some quirks; I'm funny (at least I think I am) and intellectually curious.

Love doing new things.. Got into motorcycles on a whim and currently taking sailing lessons.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as a programmer for Androids. Discovering new cool places in SF: restaurants, bars, etc. Playing board games, snapping pictures with my camera. Wondering when I'm going to feel like I've got the world as figured out as I thought all adults did when I was a kid.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Pretending to be social (lot of people are surprised when I tell them I'm an introvert), getting on the dance floor despite being awful at dancing, making people groan with terrible jokes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Dune, The Right Stuff, anything by Vonnegut, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

Drive, Breakfast Club, Blade Runner, Raiders of the Lost Ark (CLEARLY the best Indiana Jones movie). Every Fast and Furious movies - kind of a guilty pleasure. I've loved every single one, despite them being objectively terrible movies. They've just found a magic formula for greatness.

Archer, Arrested Development, House of Cards, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Community, Rick and Morty, Orange is the New Black, , Breaking Bad, Top Gear, Lost still has a place in my heart even though the ending was a complete disappointment. I'm also a sucker for documentaries.

Music tastes are all over the place. Lately it seems to be dominated by various pop or folk songs, deep/tropical house, or trap, but I still find myself returning to classic rock and alternative all the time.

Favorite food? Burrito. I could probably eat one every day if that weren't a terrible idea for multiple reasons. Also, sushi and thai.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Travel plans. I haven't been able to travel a whole lot outside of the U.S as of yet but once I have a little more financial freedom (looking at you, school loans) I'm ready to see the world!

Everything! If you ever ask what I'm thinking, don't expect to be able to predict the answer, my mind's all over the place haha
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably out barhopping with coworkers, drinking an over-sized glass of beer, cracking stupid jokes, and unwinding after a long week.

That or being antisocial: watching netflix or playing video games. This can happen on occasion too.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Favorite song to (poorly) sing along with is Michelle Branch - All you wanted. No shame there, it's a damn catchy song.

You're intelligent, funny, you don't take everything in life super seriously and you're looking for someone along those same lines.
