My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm not the biggest fan of myself; that's worth knowing up front since this mentality has shaped my whole life. As a result, I'm not the most confident and bold person, nor the slickest talker with a huge amount of friends. Such things don't come naturally to me as my default mindset is to worry, doubt and second guess myself.

In short; I'm a fixer-upper. I believe I have good traits, skills, ambitions and am fundamentally a good, thoughtful human being but it might take some understanding and even encouragement from a person to find them.

And yes, I realise it's daring to start out my profile with a negative and a whole wall of text. But maybe if you're the right kind of person, you'll still be reading and maybe even relating.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Looking for new friends, a new relationship and generally looking to do new things.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
This must sound pretty textbook given my personality, but I've always been interested in other worlds, other views and escapism. I love most forms of fiction and art, primarily movies and gaming.

I like to create when I can, mostly digitally, primarily through writing though I've been trying my hand at art again after many years.

I'm also observant and thoughtful, which helps with the creative process and means I'm really good at articulating positives and negatives and explaining my own tastes.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not sure... you tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies: Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, Ghostbusters I & II, Lost in Translation, Wonder Boys, Galaxy Quest, School of Rock, Groundhog Day, Iron Man & the Marvel movies, Blade Runner, the Lord of the Rings trilogy; sci-fi and action films.

TV shows: Whose Line Is It Anyway, Chuck (Seasons 1-3!), My Name is Earl, Star Trek, Mythbusters (before than ran out of good myths), Cowboy Bebop, Red Dwarf, Quantum Leap.

Music: My absolute favourite band is probably still R.E.M.; Editors, Coldplay (not their recent stuff) and Faunts are among some of my favourites. I'm generally into rock; classic, indie, metal, but if it's of a good quality I don't discriminate between genres.

I'm fairly into video games too, having survived the Nintendo/Sega war of the early 90s. Ask me if you want to know my favourites.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- My glasses/contacts
- My iPod
- My phone
- The Internet
- Keeping (fairly) in shape
- The ability to do something creative.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What's next in my life and what I have to do to get it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Nothing special, currently :/
