I'm new to this so I'm not sure I know what to say here. I think I am smart, funny, and even-keeled. A bit shy, especially around new people. I have a successful career in higher education and I love my job. It usually doesn't feel much like work at all, so I enjoy going to work quite a bit.

I have two sons, both of whom I love spending time with. I'm trying to soak up lots of time with them before they turn into teenagers.

I am divorced, I see lots of women posting about married men so I thought I should make it clear.

I like being outside. I play tennis and basketball. I love the beach and am a native southern Californian. Bars are not really my scene but they are OK from time to time. Reading and writing are both important to me.

I am happy basically all the time and I avoid drama as much as possible. I never hit the panic button. I like going to museums, parks, and the theater.

My career and my kids are the main focuses of my life at the moment.

Books - I like a really wide variety of things - love good fiction but also read biographies, historical and political books.

Movies I like mainstream popular movies - Bourne legacy, batman, mission impossible. Favorite all time movie is One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Favorite tv shows - the wire, the league, sopranos, various reality shows I watch with the kids.
