My Self-Summary

I haven't updated this profile for a few years now. So long, in fact, that I didn't notice they changed one of the categories on me and my answer made no sense at all. Maybe Ill update the page sometime soon, as it seems people are actually starting to use this site in my area.

*Updated pics 4/5/09
**Not this section though as it obviously still says I haven't updated it...

What I’m doing with my life

I recently finished my undergraduate degree in Biology from UMBC and I start a program at UMB in the spring. I'm hoping that if I can get more education and research on my resume that I can get into grad school. Hopefully I'll be finished with school one day. It'd be nice to know what real life is like.

I’m really good at

...brewing beer. I might actually get my masters degree in brewing science one day, but that could just be a pipe dream. Its one of my favorite things to do and it makes people happy, which is alright too.

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes. Don't know why, but people think I wear color contacts. Of course, this is what everybody says. Everybody is optimistic about what people first notice about them. You never see a girl say her 'fat ass' or a guy say 'his train wreck of a face'. It just doesn't happen. Maybe what people really notice about me is my birthmark. Its a circle on my right hand that looks like I drew it on with a brown sharpie. Its how I used to tell my left from my right when I was a kid.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

(a)I pretty much read anything I can get my hands on. I like to read a lot of philosophy and fiction. I think that I prefer science fiction because of all the possibilities it has compared to the other genres.(b) I like a lot of, what I call, cult action films, 80's teen movies, dark comedies, comic book movies (even though most of them are bad), old kung fu, and cult classics. Just a few examples are Reservoir Dogs, Sin City, Kids, Highway, Supper Troopers, Taxi Driver, Labyrinth, Life Aquatic, True Romance, Halloween and (my favorite movie of all time) Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels (c)I have a varied taste in music (but not really, because everyone says that). I listen to a lot of punk, ska and indie music. Lately I've been listening to what is called post-modern rock. I'm not gonna list any because I change what I'm listening to as much as I change my clothes...once a week.

The six things I could never do without

I'm gonna have to be completely materialistic here and say my computer, movies, music, books (including comics (shut up)), beer (I'm not an alcoholic, honestly), and my sister.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

They changed this question on me...no fair. I looked like an idiot with what i had before! I don't even remember what this question used to be...

On a typical Friday night I am

I work the evening shift at a hospital in Towson and I work just about every Friday. I work in the lab in the microbiology department. So on a typical Friday I'm elbow deep in bacteria. Not literally, that would be pretty much impossible...

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I don't like to lose. Not in competitive sports, but games and arguments. I can be a sore loser but I've gotten much better recently.

You should message me if

I'm not going to lie to you. You probably shouldn't message me. You'll only get hurt. Not emotionally, though. People tend to get headaches when they talk to me. They tend to use that part of their brain that hasn't done much since... well, ever if they're from MD.
