What I’m doing with my life

I just finished my second year of teaching in Phoenix. I'm now working at a children's group home but seriously thinking about teaching overseas again (spent a few years in Africa awhile back) and it's sort of scares the hell of me because it's a huge commitment. But right now I work during the week, play kickball Friday nights and flag football Sunday mornings. I'm starting to get back into running and do a few miles around South Muntin a few times a week. It's a relaxing time for right now and i'm enjoying it.

I’m really good at

I'm really good at finding value and hope in people. Hmmm...Yeah, that was cheesy even for me. I'm good a lot of things I guess. I can make homemade tortillas. I can put 32 small children in a room and get them to listen and even learn,Yeah, it's a gift:) I'm an All-Star at kickball (not really but it is fun). And a website survey I took recently said I could beat down 28 third graders, so apparently i'm bad-ass as well.

Favorite Movies: Oldboy, Whale Rider, City Of God, Momento, Amores perros, Last Life in the Universe, Wristcutters: A Love Story, All The Real Girls, Fight Club,Head-On...I love movies so these should give you an idea of what my favorite movies are.

Music: A Little bit of everything. Tool, Pusifer, System of the Down

Food: Food is great! I like most food but don't have a favorite. When I was a child my parents let me pick whatever I wanted to eat on my birthday. During my early years I Inevitably would always shout "I want Basgettie!" You probably had to be there, but i've been told it was very funny.
