My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The other day my perception came into play and I came to a stunning realization that very well may shock anyone who watches Game of Thrones.
It'll be on the top of my "I spend time thinking about...." segment of the profile.

I am:
Free-spirited, a thinker and a dreamer--
and I dance with gravity whenever the mood strikes;

I am looking for someone reliable, intelligent, non-prone to flake out (and with an optimistic outlook on life).

If you are scrubby and/or grubby, save me the time and trouble from having to deal with you; to that effect, I still cross paths with people who lack a sense of compassion and/or empathy. If you lack these qualities... it also is kind of a deal-breaker. It's weird to have to state that.

I blade, skimboard, longboard, rockclimb, etc...
If the surf was any better, I am sure riding the waves would be included on that list... just the same as if we had mountains and snow... but it's not and we don't--so I coast the concrete wave.

I define and live by my own rules, a'la "Live and Let Live."
I like zen, and people, generally, make me happy.
I view life as one giant jungle gym. Lots of obstacles, but so many different ways to traverse them.
That being said, whatever situation I face is always approached with the goal of learning from the experience along the way.

I heart all sorts of music including oldies, but am a little disappointed by the lack of quality tunes on the radio.

I possess the heart and mind of a punk as well as the soul of a skater.

My inner-child may wander but it never gets lost.
(... On the other hand, my outer child probably relies too much on GPS.)

I truly appreciate things geeky.

Lately I've spent a good period of my personal time tinkering with drums, guitar and my bass.

I was born and raised in FL and thusly use the terms "dude" and "chic," I consider no foreseeable expiration date on them.
I, very well, could possibly partially blame TMNT for the conditioning.

All piercings have been removed. The markings and warm memories remain.
My heart does offer its condolences to the steel that once was a part of my life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am an instructor for one of the largest technological corporations in the world.
I'll just say it may be hard for you not to have heard of them. :D

Through the years-past, I am become self-assured.
I will take this understanding with me, as my paths branch through yonder.
(and that was not a typo)

I scored ENFP, but am ambiverted and generally connect moreso as an I.
Despite that, I am social enough that those who did not know would very likely assume otherwise.
(My current group of underlings had no clue and assumed otherwise.)

I feel that was influenced by a need to consistently adapt for workplace needs. I kind of inherited, or built, the capacity for other characteristics.

I like experiencing, seeing things, naturally exhibits/events at places like museums and aquariums are appreciated.
I am also trying to learn a bit about this photography thing... so if you shoot, places to capture are fun as well.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I believe I am quite adept at picking up new skills relatively quickly.

I game well, and can casually play pretty much any sport I attempt.

I periodically also am enticed to break out into song.
In the car, shower or around a karaoke bar, after a couple beverages (or even without the drinks).

I have been diagnosed with hakuna matata.
If you have to ask... you've been under a rock.

So with that, I offer this-
1) Don't Panic.
2) Always Pack a Towel
3) Don't take life too seriously, or else you will never get out alive.... wait... hmm....
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've heard:
Every once in a while someone digs the face.
Voice, tattoos (only 2/7 are readily visible), attitude...
Energy, heart, drive....

During random happenstance, I often get remarks on my hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Starting out, these lists are always going to be incomplete.
I will be forgetting to add some scathingly incredible piece of work, but don't worry, I still think it's groovy.

This xkcd webcomic is amazing.
Love that series. Scroll your mouse.

A Light in the Attic, Where the Sidewalk Ends are familiar from my childhood and will need to be reacquired for whenever I get the urge to have my own kiddos.

This was one of my favorite movies during my midschool/beginning of high school days. Day of the Rope!

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My skates or boards
My games
My friends and family
Netflix, it seems (they just added Tarzan!).
My hoodie?
Back in mid/high school--I always kept at least one nearby. They have always been important to me, which is strange it being Florida and all, but whatever...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
So that GoT thing: You see the person in the picture attached to this message? Theon Greyjoy?

... his real name is Alfie and he is Lily Allen's brother.
Yeah, that singer lady.
You know her.

But didn't she also have a song of the same name?

http://vimeo.com/21088547

Yeah, that's ^ ^ the one.
(It isn't the most work friendly video in the world...)

But now you know...

Etymological Phenomena

Check out :::this video:::
I think Brand has a lot of valid points and can generally understand where he is coming from.
If you have the contemplated on similar thoughts, I might like to hear from you.

I think about all sorts of things.
I was out camping this past weekend stargazing and just admiring the views around me.

I think about the future of humanity, but sometimes these thoughts worry me.
Big-Money doesn't have a focus for our futures, so instead they sap and plunder.

I contemplate on balance and trajectories (this most recently occurred while playing with a pendulum and attempting a slackline).

I spend a lot of time thinking about life, space and science, inventions and the technologies that are going to be foundations for their tomorrow.

I think of fun and how lucky I am to have the beach not so far away.

Anyways, here are links to 166 Documentaries on a variety of intriguing subjects.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I could be...

-hanging out with the neighbors, friends or roomates,
this could be at bars, clubs, houses, lan parties, etc.
-wanting to hit the beach, movies, and in some situations, a concert.
-finding some place to sing karaoke... or maybe I'll be home playing a game, or practicing an instrument.
-skating around the neighborhood (this probably doesn't sound that exciting, but I still enjoy it a lot)

I am not a substantial fan of bars/clubs lately, kind of burnt out on them due to years past, plus I have a lot better ideas of what to do with my $$$.
I will still get out every once in a while to keep up with appearances, hang out, sing, cause a ruckus, etc..
My general clubs of choice are the Orpheum, and the Castle.

If I find myself at home, I will likely be practicing an instrument, taking a stroll around the block (or 3)--or maybe I am doing something that most everyone else does as well-- watching a couple flicks, reading about wordly affairs, digging into a book, playing a game, chatting with friends, or observing the universe.
Sleeping generally comes Saturday morning though, so we can't have any of that. :-P

I, personally, make it through like 4 or 5 of those selections or other excursions on a "typical Friday night."
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've grown up all over Tampa, but at the moment I actually live on the outskirts of town, not far from the Hard Rock.

... Despite any of the fanciful sounding things here, I do not consider myself as such; I am just like every other person here... but what, I feel, appears to set me apart from most is attributable to daring.

Here are some other things I'm willing to share with you-

I like my orange juice with pulp in it.
It reminds me of my grandfather.

I'm one of THOSE people who likes pineapple on my pizza.

You ever dance til you drop?
The sleep after is amazing.

The whole GMO food thing scares me.

okc states I have "answered all of the questions."
They aren't presenting any new ones, so I guess that means I have to steal them from other members... :-\

I have a significantly large social circle... I cannot keep up with it all, but I try.

Despite me not trying to be shallow, there are definitely certain physical feature-sets that do it in for me:

... Dark hair/eyes, light skin (the more prone to sunburn, the better, it appears), and similar body type\in shape (as in fit) gets the blood flowing. I am not needing someone who lives at the gym; but can't deal with someone round- I've worked to stay in the shape I am in. Not to say I didn't have fun while working, but I would love to have someone who could (and would) follow me up a tree.
I am attracted to slender, athletic builds.
Height isn't really that important.
(No disrespect, this isn't a rule or even necessarily a dealbreaker--just personal preference)

Sometimes I feel I am too picky about all this, but what can I say?

I need someone who isn't prudish or scared of the unknown.

I'm seeking someone with a sense of adventure, a dash of recklessness, and a pinch of something strange. :)

I like piercings, and tattoos. So many styles and stories...
mmm... so hot.

... Being nice will get you far.
Shit you not, I almost-completely fell for a humble lady that had a compassionate heart.
She was a doll and her capacity to care about others is among the sexiest things I've experienced in years.
She was absolutely beautiful.

I like to sit/lie outside gazing at the moon and stars.

A high sex drive is important. Keep up. :)

I actually feel accomplished and happy with life.
If I were to die tomorrow (not that I want to), I can honestly say: "To me, life was amazing, I've been surrounded by great people and I have been fortunate enough to pursue my dreams, I have seen great places, tried fun things, eaten great food, known love and loss-been beaten and broken down... but rose from the cinders, anew.
When I do go... I feel Death by Black Hole would be a fitting way to wrap things up."

I unabashedly own more than a couple pairs of jncos. :P

I want to camp out under the Borealis.

"So I spent every day since then Chasing Amy.
... so to speak."
I’m looking for

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
... you ponder the intricacies of life and the galaxies around us.

... you sing out loud to yourself, just cause.

.. you have an inkling suspicion that you could be that lady that I am hypothetically dreaming of.
You harbor an adventurous spirit.

You are geeky, but also a real nice sweet, happy chic.
Bitchy, angry, morose, etc.. need not apply.

... so, if you feel it'd be worthwhile to say hello, do so.
