I am articulate, rhythmic, and polytechnic.

My Self-Summary

Hello! Glad you could make it. Welcome to my humble expository oasis.

I'm a creative burst of verbose insistence. I'm a crazily renounced impious pontificator. Out of time, out of mind, out of place, out of dimes. Above all, I'm a lyrical conflux of collective unconscious looking for your elusive arch-melody.

I write poetry when it deigns to use me as conduit

I play music when it insists I cooperate

I draw when it seizes my hand in reluctant exasperation

Currently, I'm settling into my brand new city.... it's a Gemini's paradise! I needs new friends, dear readers! Message meh! Special Consideration given to roleplayers, musicians, logophiles, empaths and polymaths.

Okcupid thinks my self-summary is brilliant.
Ecce! scintillae! *scampers off*
Now in French
Je veux dormir! dormir plutôt que vivre!
Dans un sommeil aussi doux que la mort,
J'étalerai mes baisers sans remords
Sur ton beau corps poli comme le cuivre.

-Baudelaire, "Lethe"

What I’m doing with my life

Constantly expanding my horizons in a quest to probe the heights and depths of human experience (à la Jim Morrison). Reading, listening, watching, pondering, letting it all flow over and through me.

Though I've recently reinstated a regimen of running, I remain ruefully out of shape. Yoga here and there, T'ai Chi from time to time. Intermittent meditation.

I work as a dray, but play every day... the piano, mostly -- by ear but also the written note. It teaches itself the guitar, as well.

We're also working on a few computer certifications with the intention of using them to fund study of pre-law (when we reengage ourself in scholastic toil.) The frontier of internet and computer law is a siren call to distinction.

I’m really good at

Paraphrase, turn of phrase, marinades, and accolades

linguistic and musical ventures -
holistic and odd misadventures

Sleeping late, getting laid, staying staid, and serenades

The first things people usually notice about me

Bad puns and soulful eyes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

The six things I could never do without

Space
Innuendo
Vivid Dreamscapes
Abstraction
Myriad Euphorias
Wit

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The reconciliation of taoist and discordian ideals.
The next exponential leap in creative musicianship (WE'RE ON THE BRINK!). At least one melody.
Birthdays and the mechanisms of fate -- *glares at the Scorpios*.
A half completed list.
Stray lines of Frost.
Whatever happened to jjoed34?

On a typical Friday night I am

Wondering what day it is.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

My first word was "pretty". I'm a self-styled, professional admirer of beauty.

I might as well add that (among myriad minor kinks) I'm a hypnofetishist.

You should message me if

You are of pure heart.
-or-
Your evil is capricious, teasing, and liberated enough to turn me on.

These requirements are waived if you know why Edison died laughing in a pile of money wearing a "Suck it, Tesla!" T-shirt.
