What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Attempting to adult. Gradually getting better at it.

Also riding motorcycles, doing a lot of nerd stuff (I'm a network engineer professionally, so working on my CCNP... but also learning coding, CAD, etc), playing video games, and just in general trying to get out and enjoy life while also continuing to get my shit together.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Mixing music in weird ways
Cooking a variety of delicious things
Firing lazors, although I sold my old unit when I moved :(
Talking in meme speak. (Meaning I occasionally switch out impeccable grammar for talking/typing like doge and lolcats)
*Related to the above, using/abusing emoticons*

Pissing off entire lobbies full of people in GTA Online. Video games in general though, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Halo... sending Kerbals to fiery deaths...

Learning new things. I adapt quickly to new things and situations... so I'm pretty quick to pick up on new instruments, games, crafts, whatever pretty much. (Which frequently translates to picking up random activities, getting reasonably good at them, then randomly losing interest for long periods of time)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've generally heard my hair or my eyes, although I'm not exactly sure anymore. What do you think?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.

I've read a fair number of fantasy and sci fi books, especially when I was younger... but just recently got back into reading more again. Currently working on Iain M Banks' "Culture" series.

On that subject, I also read a lot of webcomics!

A notable few:
Chaos Life
Girls With Slingshots
Super Effective
Olympus Overdrive
Lighter than Heir
Grrl Power
The Oatmeal

I like going to the movies on occasion, as well as lounging around at home or with friends watching various things on Netflix, but I'm not a film buff by any means.

I enjoy sci-fi, horror (especially cheesy B-movie stuff), action/suspense, comedies... as well as occasionally foreign films and documentaries. (need to rebuild list, leaving as genres for now)

Including anime for the moment, although it could take up its own section:

Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, Better Call Saul, Doctor Who, Dexter, Burn Notice, Weeds, Breaking Bad, Dexter, The Walking Dead, Ghost in the Shell: SAC (and 2nd Gig), Fullmetal Alchemist (and Brotherhood), Archer (only what is on Netflix), The L Word, Lie to Me, The Boondocks, The Venture Bros., It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Torchwood, Outlaw Star, Gundam Wing, Dragonball Z, Top Gear, The Green Wing, Scrubs, Family Guy, The Simpsons, American Dad, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, SNL, Adventure Time, Mythbusters, (again, tons of things I'm forgetting to list...)

I love music. Live for it. For the sake of my sanity, only going to list a small fraction of what I'm into:

Daft Punk. I'm mentioning them first because if they ever go back on tour, I will pay a pile of money and drive over 1000 miles if I have to so I can see them live. Also, been listening to Random Access Memories a good bit since it came out. A lot of people weren't happy with it, but I love how they managed to put such a diverse sound into an album like they did. Fantastic.

(And now just listing) Ladytron, Metric, Gorillaz, Die Antwoord, The Rolling Stones, MGMT, Tegan and Sara, Borgore, Deadmau5, Black Sabbath, Foo Fighters, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Benny Benassi, The Black Keys, Knife Party, T.A.T.U., Steam Powered Giraffe, Beat Machine, Volkstroker, Flux Pavilion, Bob Marley, Santana, Skrillex, Frank Ocean, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Empire of the Sun, Calvin Harris, Miike Snow, Michael Buble, Diplo, Frank Sinatra, BT, Armin van Buuren, Linkin Park, Ferry Corsten, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, 1200 Mics, Infected Mushroom, The Grateful Dead, Ke$ha, Pink, Justin Timberlake, Akon, FloRida, Shpongle, Pendulum, Evol Intent, System of a Down, Journey, TLC, Cherub
(will stop there for now)

Sushi (Gotta start there), Mediterranean food, Indian, Italian, Thai, Mexican, Vietnamese, Southern homestyle, Chinese, seafood, Cajun, BBQ, breakfast foods...

I can prepare most of these varieties of food... my diet is relatively varied and mostly anything at the moment... although I try to keep it relatively healthy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Teh interwebz
Muh kitties. I <3 my fuzzy children.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Science, BITCH! Seriously though, I'm always reading and learning more about the universe... whether it be a breakthrough in genetics, particle physics, chemistry, or finding some other new fantastic thing in space.

I also tend to think about music pretty frequently, whether it be contemplating how a producer crafted a certain synth, or what a song might mix well into.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Gaming with friends on Xbox Live, or hanging out watching various stuff on Netflix. Also frequently working on some random project or learning something new. This also partially depends on the time of year as every few months my work schedule changes and I have to be up early on Saturday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a trans woman. It's not really that private, but it is something that I don't exactly advertise in public. However, I prefer to be up front when it comes to potentially dating people... because I understand for some that is a no-go. (Their loss)

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to go on an adventure of some sort! I'll be straightforward in saying that I'm kinda avoiding monogamous relationships at the moment... I've kinda burned out on serial monogamy and am more interested in getting involved in something more poly-oriented. So finding other people that are ok with that or *ideally* prefer it are more of what I'm looking for in the romance department.

That said, it would be cool to meet some new friends as well... especially people that are interested in snorkeling, diving, kayaking... hitting up raves/festivals and/or gaming together!
