My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a cynical optimist, constantly thinking there must be something better than this out there, and a misanthrope who loves the people I have around me. I love my life but constantly doubt it, I love thinking but it is often my downfall. I'm a modernist who craves nostalgia, I'm a rational and a romantic at heart.

In essence, I'm happy but I just don't realise it yet.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Knee deep running a small business making historical British food with my two best friends and generally trying to cook up interesting concoctions.

Being a serial hobbyist, I'm also sometimes found playing music, putting the world to rights, walking, writing, brewing, foraging, building, adventuring, cheesemaking, making charcuterie, cross-stitching, exploring, wine-making, cycling, drinking, laughing, planning, plotting, reading, musing, learning, wondering and wandering and even, occasionally, doing nothing.

Things, experiences, and lots of them.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Had a sudden burst of reading voraciously and varyingly, from Japanese short stories to The Untold History of The United States to A Confederacy of Dunces to a philosophical discourse on love to the chaos and magic that was the KLF to an amazing book on fermentations. All pretty great in their own way. Yes, fermentations.

Have a habit of reading something and, if it's good, passing it on, so books come and go.

My obsession with music is sometimes bordering on autism but it's easier to say what my headphones are currently churning out Mogwai, Mos Def, Prince, Mum, Chic, Ludovico Einaudi, Low, Terry Callier, Ghostpoet, Gil Scott-Heron, Pantha Du Prince, Can, Ian Dury, The Clash, Chet Baker, Patti Smith, Four Tet, Kraftwerk, King Creosote, Nas, William Onyeabor, Mount Kimbie, Nicholas Jaar, Godspeed, Charlie Parker, Jon Hopkins, blahblahblahblahblah etc etc
The six things I could never do without

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
