My self-summary
"You met me at a very strange time in my life"

INFJ if you are interested.
What I’m doing with my life
I've put a lot of thought in what I want the next few years to be like and I've decided that I want to go back to school and prove to myself that I am capable of sticking with something. I'm returning to school this fall so a lot of my time and energy is going to be directed into that.

I'm also doing a Goodreads challenge this year. I have a goal of reading at least 40 (but hopefully more) books. If you like talking about books or would like to recommend anything to me so I do not end up reading Stephen King's entire library this year it would be much appreciated.
I’m really good at
Connecting with people on a personal level.

Attaching myself to one subject and learning as much as I can about it. Right now that subject is Chess.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my beard and then my eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't do well picking favorites so I will give a top 5-10 or so for each group.

Books: Stephen King (by far my favorite author), Insomnia, The Hunger Games, The Dark Tower series by Stephen King (I'm not actively reading the series at the moment because the fourth book bored me into depression), Dolores Claiborne, Rose Madder, Full Dark, No Stars, Hunger, Villa Incognito, Cocaine, For Whom The Bell Tolls, The Giver, American Psycho

Movies: Rope, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, (500) Days of Summer, The Man From Earth, Django Unchained, Pulp Fiction, Memento

Shows: Arrested Development, The Sopranos, 30 Rock, Dexter, Game of Thrones, The IT Crowd, (Early) House

Music: Any Whitehouse, Tool (the majority of my time is spent listening to tool right now), Jack White, Audioslave, System of a Down, The White Stripes, The Strokes, The Black Keys, Mumford and Sons, Cage the Elephant, Whitechapel, All That Remains, The Devil Wears Prada, Alanis Morissette, Earl Sweatshirt, Asher Roth, Childish Gambino, Mos Def, Skip James, Mississippi John Hurt

"What if a kid goes to school after seeing Kill Bill and starts slicing up other kids? You know, I’ll take that chance! Violent films don’t turn children into violent people. They may turn them into violent filmmakers but that’s another matter altogether."
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How the world would be if technology didn't advance as fast as it has.

Why athletes and music artists will see more money in five years than the average person will see in their lifetime.

How much I prefer Snoop Lion over Snoop Dogg.

Statistics! It's amazing to me how graphs and numbers can so accurately represent people.

Why statistically the word 'holla' has a better reply rate than the word 'hello'.

On a typical Friday night I am
Most likely sitting at home watching a movie or playing games. I'm a total introvert. Time at home is my favorite.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I try to write short stories in my spare time that will never see the light of day.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–28
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
You are creative, I want creative people around me.

If you want to watch copious amounts of Seinfeld together.
