So, the "description area" .....other than some basic adult normalcies (own my house, car, etc) I am living quite comfortably in all areas except that one in which I share it all with someone (hence my attempt at OKCupid) I love sports of all kinds, exercise regularly, try new foods/restaurants as often as possible, am an avid recycler, and seem to be a "glass half-full" kinda guy. Speaking of glass-half full.... I have enjoyed spending the last several years developing a finer palate for wine(s) and practicing proper oenophilia :) I tend to believe that I am quite verbose and truly enjoy having deep/intellectual conversations with people who can appreciate a good blend of witty banter, sarcasm, and intelligence. Quid pro quo ?
I ABSOLUTELY cannot live w/o my passport and find that one of my biggest passions in life is travel.
I was class clown every year in grade school and believe that laughter is the best medicine :) My job involves the treatment of cancer patients and is a daily gut-check and reminder of how NOT to take the little things in life for granted. As of late, I have been considering a career change.... lots to talk about when/if we meet.

What I’m doing with my life
possible cross-roads now... but excited about new opportunities that lie ahead. Happy the weather has turned after a dreaded winter.
I’m really good at
making people laugh/smile.... like to see the lighter side of life,

The first things people usually notice about me
cliche', but it is my smile and personality. I am quite sociable (a cracker, but not the Nabisco one, haha) I also get, "What?!?! No way you are 42!!" (that's my favorite)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Read non-fiction for the most part... sprinkle in a lil Stephen King now and then.
TV: Portlandia, Homeland, Mad Men-RIP, The Walking Dead, Justified-RIP, Boardwalk Empire-RIP, House of Lies, Orange is the New Black, House of Cards and am still an avid SNL fan as well.
Enjoy just about any type/ethnicity of food. Chris Rock once said... "I'll eat a pig's ass if they cook it right." Well, that is somewhat applicable. Haha.
Regularly see shows (Broadway/theatre) at some local venues and also when I travel to other cities. Recent trips to Austin and Napa have taken my palate to another level
As for music, well let's just say my iPod has Tony Bennett, Tool, Wu-Tang, Frank Sinatra, Rage Against the Machine, Florence and the Machine, Beastie Boys, Broken Bells, Jay-Z, Keane, Skrillex, and Coldplay in it... diverse enough?
The six things I could never do without
Obviously I could live without these things, but they definitely

Craft beer, full bodied wine, mixology/alchemy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the next chapter(s) in my life.

On a typical Friday night I am

oxymoronic... don't ya think?
You should message me if
you DO NOT have a photo of yourself, taken by yourself, in a bathroom, with the flash going off in the mirror, where I can see your toiletries, laundry, and mess. WTF ?!?!?!
I mean, I get a selfie here and there, but some of the ones I have encountered are overly trashy and distasteful.
OR.... I have piqued your interest and you "get the gist" of the humor that is peppered into my profile. :)
