What I’m doing with my life
Living it curiously and enjoying it! I do freelance work which is vague and that's the way I like my online profile ;) (it's a conversation to be honest). I'm my own boss and It gives me the freedom and flexibility I need to have in my employment. Not much of a 9 to 5 guy....entrepreneur at heart.
I’m really good at
Reading people....I'm reading you right now.
Making popcorn
Playing pool while slightly tipsy
Dry Irish humor
Also...everything else.
The first things people usually notice about me
Besides my Minnesota nice friendly demeanor I guess I don't get many complaints about my hair and eyes.

Also that I walk upright..
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Records: The White Stripes, Muddy Waters, Janis Joplin, The Black Keys, Bob Dylan, Arcade Fire, Beastie Boys, Howlin Wolf, Led Zeppelin, Bon Iver, Mumford n sons, The Band, Band of Horses, Charlie Parr, Rolling Stones, War, Bjork, Felice Brothers, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder, Public Enemy, Rage, Springsteen, Skkynyrd, Doobies, Decemberists, Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Robert Johnson, Lightning Hopkins, and so many more.

Food: I'm a bit of a Foodie (I hate that term), and usually judge all food as if I was Anthony Bourdain except less organ meat. Indian, Ethiopian, Vietnamese, Sushi, gourmet burgers, farm to table, barbeque....pretty much anything that's fresh and delicious. Mostly eat vegetarian at home but come on its NYC, can't limit yourself too much. I'm also a pretty damn good cook and take full advantage of my full sized Brooklyn kitchen.

Progrums: Mostly Price is Right reruns circa Bob Barker but also.....True Detective, BB, Cosmos, The Wire, Sportscenter, 60 minutes, Game of Thrones, The Wire, Arrested Development, Seinfeld, Rome, Curb, Modern Family, The Wire, No Reservations, Chopped, Iron Chef, Survivor, The Wire.....and some Girls just so I know what you Girls are up to these days.

Read: NY Times, smart magazines, Malcolm Gladwell, subway signs, and food labels.
The six things I could never do without
Great food
Great Music
My cabin in Minnesota
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How the f%$@ New York City "works". Honestly it seems like one big experiment that I'm not sure can last...but thank god it exists! Wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
On a typical Friday night I am
Avoiding the typical bar scene on the crazy New York weekends. This is my night to explore and find something cool and chill. Live music, art show, new restaurant, or an interesting homeless man. I also love to stay in and cook and imbibe and watch Bill Maher or Cosmos reruns.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Santa Claus is real...
You should message me if
You are a witty, cute, down to earth, intelligent, independent and open minded girl who also has hair and a love for food, travel, and spontaneity. I won't budge on the hair qualification.

Also if all of your pictures are you as a bridesmaid please change one. Change it to something....anything. Even if it's a picture of you and your ex-boyfriend where he has been chopped out of the photo except for his hand that is getting a nice side boob feel :)
