My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The other day on a ridiculous whim I took a bunch of Zapito quizzes. I got: Lisa from the Simpsons, Hermione from Harry Potter, Nick from New Girl, and The Departed for Leonardo DiCaprio character. I am especially proud about Lisa (ambitious, old soul, compassionate) and Nick (loyal, straightforward and kind, a goof).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Freelancing in film production. Soaking up as much knowledge and wisdom as possible. Awkwardly easing into yoga. Trying to not be absorbed in my phone and instead interact with real life, etc. Trying not to edit this thing to death.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
being receptive to others emotionally
being a goof when the time and mood is right
giving advice to those who have trials and tribulations
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile. Or my height.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm enjoying absorbing the non-fiction knowledge shared by Susan Cain in Quiet, Malcolm Gladwell in David & Goliath, and Dr. Meg Jay in The Defining Decade, while doing my best to not get wrapped up in any identity crises.

I love movies that just totally immerse you in the moment. This includes Pulp Fiction, 2001, Before Sunrise/Sunset, Elephant, French New wave, The Diving Bell and The Butterfly. I also love John Hughes movies, Boogie Nights, Boyhood, Back to the Future, and The Apartment.

The Strokes, Amy Winehouse, Angel Olson, Beach House, Tune-Yards, Tame Impala, jazz that isn't intellectualized/jerking itself off, and Paul Simon.

I usually try something on the menu I've never had before.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
the feel of the outdoors and the weather
good friends
empathy and compassion, emotion
energy and fun
movies, videos etc
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The beauty of aesthetics and human behavior that can be found in the world
Frankly I've been thinking about feminism and sexual harassment and global warming and what to do about these things that we can barely control
I'm seriously wondering how much money I would make playing percussion on Michigan Avenue
How you really need to think consciously while on okcupid. You could pass up the love of your life for someone whose friend happened to take their DSLR to the beach on a day when he or she was feeling attractive and photogenic
