My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm moving from Chicago to NYC in early July. I'm focusing on moving and finding a job and an apartment, so for now my profile below is still in terms of Chicago. (By the way, if you or anyone you know is looking for a roommate, and you like what you read here, don't hesitate to contact. NYC apartment hunting is no joke.)

Always at a loss for what to write here. I am a certifiable over thinker but doing well in recovery. I love music and movies. I'm a deep thinker and feeler and a proud introvert. I'm pretty career-oriented, caring, and can be both goofy and serious.

I’m alternating between film production and non-film administrative work in an attempt to follow what I love and also have enough money in the bank. In film production I freelance as an assistant director, who is the person who runs a film set logistically.

Things I like:
-improv comedy
-drumming and tapping
-when someone dares to be vulnerable and true to themselves
-dogs, especially when running
-acting (both the craft itself and when I do it occasionally)
-being goofy
-movie commentaries
-the brown line (the most chill and professional of all train lines)
-live music, esp. when the musicians are into it
-connecting deeply with people
-expanding horizons learning about spiritual things

Just rented from the library: Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Fahrenheit 451, and Networking for People Who Hate Networking.
I'm also listening to the audiobook “Yes Please” by Amy Poehler, which is amazing.

Pulp Fiction, Back to the Future, Trainspotting, Superbad, 2001, Charlie Chaplin movies, Audrey Hepburn movies, and Before Sunrise/Sunset.
I especially like movies that make you feel good and invigorated about real life, and in a way that’s possible only through the medium of film. (Yes, I am a film nerd and get real excited and into these things.)

Louie, Parks and Rec, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development.

I love music that has a lot of soul. Fleet Foxes, The Walkmen, Amy Winehouse, Vulfpeck, The Strokes, Angel Olson, Beach House, Tame Impala, and Regina Spektor.

Any gluten-free comfort food (pizza, muffins, mac and cheese) is heaven
